I have been riding my Harley Fatboy for nearly 10 years. Been riding motorcycles since the 70's. Been thinking of buying/wearing/listening to an I-Pod while I am riding, especially on long trips. Some Bikers have an on-board stereo system, but I perfer not to have my music blasting out, distorted for everyone to hear. Does anybody know of a real good, clear, solid sounding I-pod out there to buy?
I can imagine about 200+ or more Biker songs like Back in Black, Ride Like the Wind, Bad Company, ZZ Top, The Floyd, Bob Seager, Jethro Tull, Led Zepplin, on and on...
Nothing like riding your bike blazed during the fall w/a few great friends, jammin with great R&R and R&B.....
Fall 2009, 8 of us were riding thru the back roads in N.E. Iowa. Our wifes followed us up w/food/brew. We pulled into a real basic rest area w/water pump, odd-house and a few tables and grills. We cooked up some burgers/dogs, sat around and drank for a few hours. We had just put everything away when the county police pulled into the area. We saddled our bikes as they stared at us, by the time they had exited the patrol car we were down the road. with their patrol car following us out of the county. Talk about profiling....real pricks
