The Black rose grow christmas tree style if grown under vertical lights and single cola if lit from above and flowered small. As you mention the bush has come about due to fimming.

Wow, "a disappointing 30.6 Oz ", I'm thinking 3-4 Oz will be good from one plant and you're disapointed with 10 X that !!!
I've looked at the waterfarm setups and like what I've seen and will probably give it a try, thanks.
That's what I thought about the fimming with the BR's, wish I had more to try with an indoor setup.

As for the rest of what you wrote, I have no idea what the heck you're even refering to. I've had 3 males out of 20 and they are at the end of their flowering period not seeds, and yeah the jiffy cubes were a long time ago with the first effing batch of seeds.

No, I'll be keeping the op small and indoor next time for many personal reasons around here.
All of my girls out there are girls, what got them knocked up was the "wild pot/hemp" that grows in the ditches around this town/area. I once had a similar problem with my purebred German Shepard, she never wanted the other purebred. She just had to have that darn Roteweiller instead.:hump::hump:

aww man i know how that goes.

i also have a purebred German Shepard. His Names Rock, i found him in the mountins about 5 years back. he was along the road supper skinny b/c he could not eat from all the porcupine quills in his face/paws. took him to the vet thier no one clamed him so im his proud owner now. even drove the 5 1/2 back up thier to get him. =]

Hey bigguy hope all is well, plants are looking great, I am sure i asked this before but i dont remember???? Where did you order your seeds? I think you should be expecting much more than 3 - 4 oz per plant. i would think 4 - 6 minnimum.. anyways Keep up the good work!!!

The White Rhino's came from BuyDutchSeeds.com, the Kahuna's (and the Mango seeds that I still have 5 of) came from bcseedking.com, and the Heath's Black Rose were freebies from DrChronic.com. My order from the Doc was actually for Nirvana's Bubblicious and they had a bad germ rate, so the Doc sent me the BR freebies as compensation. Oh yeah the Lowryder#2's also came from the Doc and I still have 4 of them left too.:peace:

thanks much bigguy, i have been meaning to ask that for some time. i have been looking to buy some lavender seeds. Will have to put in a order soon. I Should be getting my new carbon filter today.

I went ahead and harvested K1 today, she is in the drying box now (there are 2 racks full in there). I'm sure that I could have let her go longer, but if I didn't harvest one of them soon they'll probably all come in at once and I don't want that due to only having the 1 drying box setup. I didn't get a wet weight but I did buy a scale (I got the "Ashtray Digital Scale") and I'll get a dryed weight later.
All of the girls are still looking great (Except for the effing seeds). I even noticed some purple leaf stems on BR2, maybe she'll even get the pretty purple buds too.:weed:

yeah they definately look like they could have went a few more weeks, looks really good though, sorry to hear about the seeds, but could be some good seeds for next year

im keepin my fingers crossed that u get a purple pheno from the BRs... i have had 2 harvests of the BR and none of them were purp.. GREAT SMOKE nonetheless.. just no damn purp!!

i too have been having problems with seedlings over the past couple weeks.. they will sprout, but just wont go anywhere after the first couple leaf sets.. i cant understand it... im driving myself nuts trying to cancel out all possible problems...

Yeah I know, but with the seed issue and then these damn grasshoppers lately munching on the leaves.........I even sprayed them with Neem-Oil tonight and I'm hoping like hell that they don't have a bad reaction to it and it just gets rid of the damn bugs.:peace:

Heath said this bush-style plant is due to the fimming, but it's been blooming like crazy lately so I'm happy.

Thanks, I'll get some bud pics up tommorrow. I just trimed buds off of the stems today and most of it went into a big mason jar to cure. I've saved out some to smoke. Very heavy hitting high with a couchlock that creeps up on you (good evening smoke). My GF's description of the taste is that it tastes like what a juniper bush smells like.:joint::mrgreen::weed:

Thanks for the tip JohnnyO. I checked on it though and it's out of stock and the 100% organic stuff says that you have to start using it early in the season in order for it to work.
I'm thinking of trying this stuff: Get Garden Insect Control with DIATECT - All-Natural, Bug-Killing Products, what do you think?:peace:

Active Indgredients: Pyrethrins (African Daisy extract), Diatomaceous Earth (silicon dioxide), Piperonyl Butoxide (synthetic sassafras oil).

Yep, that should do the trick. Pyrethrum is a deadly poison and DE works on soft-bodied insects like caterpillars.

Hey Big guy,

Just my 2 cents but I wouldnt harvest any more until they are done. From what I see in your pics the buds are still growing.
As you know it takes months to get this far. Why would you want to cut them short? Build another box dude, get 20 to 30% more.

I havent been following your thread closely just poppin in once in a while so I will just mention the method I use to tell when to harvest.

I get a magnifying glass and look at the trichomes, They are most likely clear like in this pic.



The highest concentration of THC is at the top of the stem, right under the head.

When they turn milky I harvest for a head high. Or wait till they turn amber for more of a body stone.

Like I said just my 2 cents worth.

Thanks man, the lowryder was just about gone and I needed something to smoke.
Damn !!! It has a taste that hits you with a real piney (like a juniper bush) flavor and it kind of coats your mouth with it. The high takes about 5 minutes to really set in and then the couchlock hits. My GF has a lot of pain from knee problems and about 3 hits of this and she slept all night without the usual waking up wincing because she moved wrong. Excellent night-time smokebongsmiliebongsmiliebongsmiliebongsmilie This Kahuna is gonna be sooooooo killer when it's cured !!!
Oh yeah I know I harvested way too early, but I still got almost 2 ounces (48-50 graqms) from K1, and yes I know I could have gotten probably twice that if I had waited. I also have 11 plants left up there that are all doing great yet too so I figured I could spare one rather than buying some local schwag for way too damn much money.:weed::peace:

Hey thanks for stopping in Cruzer. Helpful advise as usual and an excellent illistration picture as well, thanks.
I know I was early, but as I just stated above I had my reasons and several left up there yet too. Hell the "Outlaw" wild plant is even budding like crazy.
Now if I can just get rid of those damn grasshoppers. I ordered that Diatect power and bought a dust-type sprayer to apply it with when it gets here.
