Hey all, i have a big slug problem out in the forest, i heard from one guy that copper wire burns them so i put abunch all over around the stem and i go out today and find them chompin away at the stems!!!! its really pissing me off they have taken down alot of my clones, all suggestions welcome, i need somethin that will keep em away! i heard human hair but i dont have that much of that so anything else might work? also will a plant pull through if the stems have been dissolved abit, because a few of em the lower stems are been resorted to tooth pics almost. but any help would be great thanks!

Copper wire will do the trick wind some around the bottom of the stalk and they will not cross it. I have used it for a few years on my outdoor and no problems. Stops snails too! You can buy a mesh like I use from these guys, it expands as the stalk gets bigger.

Well i have a whole bunch of copper wire around the plants stalks and they just went right over it!So im not too sure?

there are a shitload of ways to control slugs and snailsill just let out the 1 best method i came up with.
get urself some instant coffee cans or similar get some tin snips and ur good to go i know its a lil work but worth it u can make 2-3 rings out of a can then cut lil slices all around ur top edge and bend down the tabs made and voila u put the ring around the base of ur plants and ul never see another slug on the ladies again.
down side its a lot of work
up side 100% effective because the slugs wont go past the tabs u cut and u can reuse them every year hope this helps happy cropping
