Big Difference in Bud Sizes 1 Month into Flowering?

what are you talking about?? "far from phenos" what do you mean?
every strain has diffrent phenos, unless so preserved you pulling the same exact
strain every single sproutling. which i cant belive. bagseed is still a given strain, its just crosses with an anonymous male, if not self pollinated. exp, my gods gift has thrown at me 3 diffrent phenos. one flowers large heavy set buds, ones smaller buds and heavier aroma, and the other is frosty as hell. which is a typical pheno for any strain. even a bag seed. it had to come somewhere.
the only prob with bag seed is the high rate of herms. which acually can be concidered another pheno..
however you want to look at it.

also about them lights, your already streching, im subbed for this, i cant belive you did this with the lights your using.
wait till you get that sodium, shits gonna pop! youll be impressed!!

but good shit to getting this grow that big with your lights
Thanks man. Just one a tight budget right now. 2 kids, wife, 3 dogs, and am waiting for my disability to go through, so funds are tight. But I am going to our local hardware store and picking up the 150 HPS today. On sale..............35 bucks !!!!!!! Might see if I can get 2 of em. Its their old stock, plus, the owner and I went to school together, so I get the friends discount! LOL ( He gets his shit from me also LMAO ) And as for hermies, They are definetly not hermies and this morning, they were starting to dense up some and the trichomes are starting to form on 2 of the 3. And hairs.................popping up everywhere on those 3. So things are looking up. So, I know its probably genetics more than anything, plus, some lighting issues, but that will soon be fixed. But thanks for the botany lesson. Like I said before, been doing the outdoor thing for years now, off and on, and this is my first indoor. And Ill tell ya what, going from outdoor to indoor, is 2 TOTALLY different procedures all together.

Are you misting with the carb'd water for the co2?
Yea, I always did for my outside crop, and they LOVED it, and I am getting the same results now. Just cant do it till 20 minutes or so before lights out. I really hit the underneath of the leaves, cause thats where most CO2 is absorbed, plus, keeps the bugs off.

Dude if you got bagseed then its more than likely non stable plants, hence the reason why your getting such a wide variety pf pheno and genotypes. You should grow them out and start inbreeding them to stabilizr the strain so you will have a uniform garden which makes life a whole lot easier

Mist when your lights go on instead of off, plants don't use co2 in the dark. try it on one of your ladies and see what happens

The lights turned the water droplets into magnifying glasses and burnt them. I just do it 20 minutes before hand so that doesnt happen. But by the time the lights go out, they are dry, and then I dont have to worry about mold.

Like I said, this was an experiment for my first indoor. So not too worried about it. Just wanna dial in my lights, nute regimine, fimming for my next grow, which I will be scrogging. And, it takes a bit for me to get the money together for everything, so I figured, what the hell. At least I am not buying everything for my first proper grow and just looking at it. LOL It just gives me a chance to kill time. Kinda like, when I was a kid, I would be disappointed if on Christmas morning, I had all these gifts wrapped up, and nothing in em when I open them up :( But for now, I wanna see what all these girls will throw at me, trouble wise. I love troubleshooting, plus, gives me a reason to find cool folks like yourselves to BS with !!!!!!

AHHHHHH I see, you could always back your lights up and in my opinion i think that water misting (burning plants) while lights on is a myth. I foliar feed with a mag supplement right when my light come on.. never had a problem but im not one to judge and if it works for you keep on truckin... cause if it aint broke then don't fix it

I do have them in a small room, and running outta room. LOL Cant really move my lights a whole lot more. But, one day, I will. I have had some of my outdoor grows on a timed sprinkler system with the carbed water attatched with now problem. Like I said, cant really move my lights anymore, which sucks. But thanks man. If ya click on my signature, you can see better pics of all of em and see from start till now. Gotta go pic up 2 150 watt HPS today then Ill take some pics and post on my thread. Thanks for subbing up, and the knowledge. You can never have too much of that !

well, here is the new deal..............4 150 watt HPS, 8 43 watt cfl 2700k, 4 T-5 flouresents for a grand total of roughly 75,000 lumens and almost 1000 watts of total lighting. Noticed a difference already in the bud sites and they havent stretched anymore. Thanks for all the help guys, i will be posting pics in a few days to show the difference. Once again, thanks all who helped. Got so excited about it, I think I may have overwatered them :( but they will be fine. LOL

Thinking about those lights youve got, basically enough for a small veg room and small flowering room! The t5's as the veg room, four in a row ought to support 4/6 plants in the veg for about 4/5 weeks and then the 150w hps and cfl's for the flowering room, 4 hps in a square at the top will give you a lot of light but not the best penetration so better for short plants and with the cfls to boost the side lighting i think you could have a good continuous supply of weed. Just a thought, waiting for the pics, hurry up and wake up!

Sorry about some of the sideways pics. LOL Anyways, I have the 150 watters in a square up top, fully adjustable. The t-5s, standing vertical in the corners, and the cfls in the middle ends for side lighting, just like the t-5's. Every day I rotate the plants 1/2 turn and every 4 days now, rotate the plants themselves. Since I put them up, the girls are EXPLODING. Thanks again for the input, guys. I will keep this thread going with new pics and updates till harvest.

Hmm crazy, i look at the photos and i just cant judge the scale of them, i need a 30 cm ruler or a pic of the outside of the budbox, it all looks minature to me but i am stoned so maybe its the weed!!lol! Yer looks ok with the lights, those t5's look more like t8's and think that the wattage would tell if they were t8/t5 as each one has a particular wattage per the length eg a t5 at two foot 60cm is 24watts and a similar t8 is 18watts. I reckomend topping them or lst for the next grow under that hps, were they robbed or somthing? they look self ballasted units and would check the ampage and get a good timer. You probably got quite an even spread of light spectrum going blue to red so good for the plant. The plants look healthy and if anything maybe a touch overwatered but they might not be. Have those buckets got drainage holes in at the bottom?

Good pics, sorry if i can only veiw them in minature, i might be a little stoned. Good little setup too but tidy up them wires.
