Big Buddha Blue Cheese under CFLs

I still plan to induce flowering in the next couple days. I'm working with CFLs so I dont want the height from the stretch to get to outta control. These CFLs dont do much for plants above 2-3 ft.
Ever since she was topped she has gotten sooo bushy. I LOVE IT. Still a little sideways though..
Pic 1- view from the top
Pics 2-4 - extreme bushyness/sidewaysness

?? I haven't ever heard of that method. But by switching the lights to 12 hours on, 12 hours off, the plant is tricked into flowering because it thinks the long, sunny days of summer are ending. In nature, as the days shorten the plant would enter flowering on it's own, but since we are playing the role of mother nature, we can just adjust the lights to the most ideal settings. This is my first grow, so I'm not the wisest, most experienced one here, but I read something like that somewhere out there and it makes sense.

I think geekin69 is going to change the light cycle tomorrow and maybe begin slowly introducing her to some bloom nutes. So far it's looking good! Can't wait to get back and see my baby!

Yeeeeeaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!! I got back in town today and man has the plant grown! geekin69 watered her the other day with 3 liters of water and added 5 mL Bloom and another 5 mL Grow nutes. He also switched her to 12/12. I guess I owe him a Zong bowl for plantsitting... bongsmilie

Now it's day 22... 2nd day of flowering. She's looking fantastic. She's leaning wayyy over.. but it doesn't really matter... right?

The stalk is thick as hell.. just about as thick as a AA battery.

...and as for the bending..i have no clue...the only thing i can think of, is moving her closer to the light..she might be stretching for it...

I've been busy this weekend with work and stuff so I didn't really have much time to spend with the Blue Cheese. As a result she went until yesterday without a watering, but didn't seem to mind. Whn I got back I adjusted the lights back to the position they where initially at. THE NEXT DAY I came back to check on her and she had already grown so much that she was touching a CFL. That leaf had some light-burnage but I trimmed the burnt part off and that's that.

This plant is fucking crazy. Should I still LST it? I was planning on it but my plant is growing sideways and is already bushy as fuck. In fact, it's kinda making things hard because of the way my set-up is... it's hard to give it more horizontal room because the two arms are so long and heavy.

Yesterday I watered her with another 3 liters of water (no nukes). These pics are from then (day 25 / 5)

So one week later we're back in action. I've been keeping a super close eye on the plant for those white hairs and it finally paid off today!

Been watering her every 4 days or so with about 3.3 L of water, doing the whole nutes thing too. She seems to take them well because she has experienced hardly any nute burnage.

The main (side? Topping went wierd) cola is about 10.5" tall now, so I had to redo my whole light setup because the big CFL was just too far away while the two wings where too close. So I got rid of all the wood and just have everything dangling, except for the big CFL which used the wood as a base.

I also trimmed her up a good bit today.. took pretty much the bottom 4" off. It added up to quite the pile of greenage though..

We've been cutting and saving a few clones too. They've been in the rockwool for a few days and ready to go. Hopefully they make it.

Sorry it's been so long I've updated. I used to browse through RIU and hate the threads that ended mid-growth, so I'm gonna try and not be that guy... It's been exactly 4 weeks since the last post... so... here it goes:

The good news is that the Blue Cheese is looking dank as fuck. I've kept her lower branches pretty trimmed, so she's basically got seven branches, five of which are kind of main cola-esque. As you can see from the pics, she has bud sites popcorned all over her.

I had a gnat problem but got some neem oil and.. BOOM!, no gnats. Geekin69 hooked it up with some mylar, which we put up today. We also moved the plant to the corner of the closet to maximize reflectivity. We also just picked up some mollasis so give it in the next watering.

The plant had some nute burnage, so I semi-flushed it, so now it looks over-watered as well.

Other than that, she is crystally as HELL. She's covered in resin glands and the nugs are dense and sticky too! Some of the nugs even have a few pink pistils.

All in all she's doing great considering the nute-burnage, overwattering, and likely heat stress that she's gone through. Hopefully she'll rebound and plump up.

I'll keep you guys a little better updated... my bad. I'll also add a few more pics a little later.
