Bought 2 of these beans. Cheese is my all time fav which ive never grown myself for some odd reason. That's about to change. Ive went with Big Buddahs offering, which gets great reviews.

Will be growing in Plagron batmix under 250watt metal halide for veg and 250watt hps for flower with a 300watt LED for side lighting. Nutrient wise, nothing for the veg stage and plagron bloom ,nothing else.

Just growing 1 of the beans as im not the best set up for super stink strains.

I placed 1 in wet kitchen paper yesterday and put it in my grow closet with the light on for heat and it cracked exactly 24 hours later, today.

So let the show begin.

Really nice chunky, healthy looking seeds.

day 15.

gotta say, she didnt respond to the topping as well as i wanted. the lower nodes have remained secondary..
I may go ahead and top her again to see if i can spur those lowers to come up. Will do this in a week

day 18 and what started off as a really promising grow is now a grow that is giving me a headache

first set of 3 finger fans began show symptoms of lockout or calcium def, idk which , a few days ago.

she didnt respond to the topping favourabley either.

yesterday i decided to go a head with topping her again and putting her in a bigger pot as growth had slowed way down.

no roots showing out the drainage but during repotting there was a visible root system in place but certainly not a great one at all.

after second topping

cont..

so today i check on her, and the symptoms on 3 finger leaves still progressing while the new growth looks ok.

big fans drowning out those lower branches i want to come up so ive done another first...an experiment, which may work great or kill her.

ive deleafed her leaving only the new shoots. she looks like a pathetic little shrub right now.

time will tell..

so what has went wrong? ive not had issues like this since my noob days 10 years ago.

im going to right ahead and blame plagron batmix

either that, or this strain really doesnt like topping which i dont think is true at all. skunk genetics are the most hardy fast growing and reliable, ...noob friendly if you will. i was actually thinking this grow was going to be a cinch
but not so.

yeh im blaming the batmix. ridiculously overpriced into the bargain

day 21, took her a while to recover , but starting to look very promising. bottom nodes have became dominant, which was the plan.

might have been too hasty in slating the batmix so far, no new issues
