Hello my fellow roll it uppers ;)

I've been in the outdoor section with my first grow.. It has been raining plus the weather is not as usual..so i build a small greenhouse outside for them..but then they turned out to be males.
After a month and half later, shitty weather, i did my best and yet you turned out male!
I gave up and I didn't really care about growing anymore.
Then suddenly; arrives a package with feminized autoflowers, i forgot about them cause i placed the order quite some time ago, but oh well i live on an island and stuff take long to get here.

    So a week ago i placed one of the freebies which is a Big Bang Auto from Greenhouse in dirt, and today, a week later, i checked and here she is;

So I stood still for a moment, and gave it a thought...i didn't want to grow her outside..so i went out and bought some stuff.. and here are some pictures of my first ever cfl grow.
As stated before...the seed was planted a week ago...cause of the root sticking out, i placed her in a cup..
Comments are more than welcome, and your help with input is highly appreciated.

my plan is to leave the lights on 24/7 and once i start seeing hairs, ill do 20/4 ...
also i will keep adding lights if needed..

sorry for the pictures :( they were taken with my phone.

Just keep those lights 1"-2" from foliage at ALL TIMES.
CFL's work wonders, but dont keep them far enough that their light value is diminished before it reaches your darling.
Good luck, doesn't seem like anythings going wrong yet.

i found the first mistake, it was kind of too close to the lights...the plant was kind of bending away from the lights...so i took her lower...

edit: i took away the reflector, it seemed to work as a heatsink which in return made the climate in the box kind of hot...so we're alright...the lights are 1 to 2 inches away from the plant...and things seem to be fine

Here's a pic of the "day after"..without the reflector, the accumulated heat is gone, and she seems to be happy!
I'll try to post weekly updates...

in dutch they say "no news is good news"

that box looks a bit of a fire hazard - i'd make sure someone was there all the time to keep an eye on it..

and maybe keep a fire extinguisher on hand..

cardboard is flammable.. you have electrical cables inside the box.. if there was a bad/dirty contact which cause and arc it could end badly..

i'm not trying to rip on you man just trying to help.. i wouldn't leave that in my house whilst i was not there.. chances are nothing will happen, but they are a hell of a lot higher than if it were in a cab or tent..

my advice would be getting a decent cab, but it seems it might be a bit late for that.. so i would say just try get the extension lead away from the cardboard at least..

    I did:)

I noticed that you do not have any reflective material covering the cardboard. Just go to your local hydro shop and pick up a ten foot roll of mylar for 12 bucks or so. Your plants will thank you in the long run.

thats the thing my friend, i live on an island with 150thousand people ...growing indoors is so so so unsual that they don't even sell these things, there is no such thing as a hydro store here..since we are on a 12/12 light cycle all year long naturally, people grow vegetables all year long outdoors.

is there anything i could get at a hardware store that would do this same work? anything people use in the construction scene maybe, i could grab it at a hardware.

thanks folks...i am seeing progress but i will post pictures in a week! so you can compare better.

would it be a smart idea to let her under 24/7 for a couple more days and transplanting her outside ?

If you are looking for a cheap option, I'd recommend buying some gift wrap paper and use the shiny side for reflective material. Some gift wrap papers are even made out of mylar. This option is much better than using aluminum foil, however aluminum foil would be better than nothing.:)

Who ever thought a trip to hallmark would help your grow op.:)

seems like the weather is getting better and better... would it be a smart idea to hold the plant in there for another week and then place her outside to help the flowering process and make the buds denser ?

i would def veg her as long as possible indoors (simply to let her getbigger, bigger plant, bigger buds :) ) then toss her outside for flower...

    is she flowering already?
