BHO from Males!

So we all hate males, and im sure have all gotten our share of them. I know alot of people say eff males and either throw them out, or throw them in the garbage disposal. Now i have herd that you can make BHO from males, along with roaches, stems, and clippings from females.

currently i have had 8 males in my crop this year, which i have pulled, hung to dry, and ground up into a weed powder. currently i have 4 lbs of males, and i have 3 more drying right now, and two that im going to get pollen from then dry and add to the collection.

so bassicly my question is, why dosn't anyone else do this.. i understand that you get less BHO from males, but shit i would think its better than smoking fan leaves, and i do have a shitload of it.

maybe i just have to much time on my hands, but i have never done BHO so im thinking im going to use it as a learning expereince for later in life

anyone have any say on this? can i use my males more effectivly some other way, i would think making butter would end up beeing to messy with the amount of cut i already have.

Sorry, can't comment on the BHO. I usually make butter though and have great results with that. Simply boil some water and once it boils add a couple sticks of butter and the leaf and let it go for about 30 minutes. After that I just dump out into a bowl pouring it through a metal screen thing I have that filters back out the leaf so its only butter and water which will seperate in the fridge over night.

yea like wise i make butter, but ive got a feeling three of mine are showing male tendencies so i could ave shit loads of green male, keep us posted on bho...

yeah i figure ill give it a try i mean from what i hear you can make it from anythign with thc in it, and even though males arn't good smoke they still have thc in there. I had even seen somewhere that a male with good genetics could have more tch then some bud.. but that may just be talk.

anyone else got some feedback on it? Has anyone done BHO period?

Def go with BHO, I'm a huge fan, I make it using every part of the plant including fan leaves.. Only thing I leave out is the roots. I've already had my share of arguments whether or not males produc any thc, they do. Not as much as a female obviously, but before the pollen sacs open up, there is a fair amount of thc in males.. U say u have 4lbs ground up male? I don't see how u could not get a decent amount of hash oil.. I've never made with a male before, but I have reused female plant twice over with BHO.. n the second time was less than 1/2 as much, but none the less, still there.. Thc is underlying, on the INSIDE of leaves n stems as well as the stronger trichome on stems and amber trichomes on leaves. Go for it 100%, butter is cool but 4 lbS could get messy, lots of butter, get fat lol..

Go for the bho method, but DONT use PVC.. I made a simple thread that's really easy to make an extractor n how to use it, there's one in the f.a.q. Too, but I feel mines extremely simple to follow

YES!!! that was the post i was looking for, yeah i have far to much to make butter, otherwise i would have like a small butter factory in my fridge.. that is why i was looking into BHO. I have even grabbed males from other growers i know, who where more than happy to give them to me and get them away from there ladies. so i have amassed like i said around 4lbs, and any predictions on how much butane that would take?

ill try to document it on here, but it wont be till after i harvest, as im going to do seperate runs with the female trim..

how much butane.. um well alot of times when i make oil i like to use actual dried, cured stems, like collect them from buds as i progressively smoke.. i feel when the stems are cured with the bud it leaves more trich n thc actually in and around the stems and inner trich leafs. and when i do that i do about an oz at a time.. using about 10-12ozs of butane per ounce i would say..

yeah i have a collection like that aswell, i also have one of all roaches.. and the 4 lbs of male.. plus the trim from my ladies... so im going to need a shit load of butane ehyy.. i guess i should start looking for some un-scented 'clean' butane

u shouldnt do roaches via the butane method.. i would go with iso-alco for that one.. but then again, ive never done it so i cant really say, but they r basically two types of butane, theres butane made with Isobutane (2-METHYL PROPANE), which is really cheap n shitty.. people think its "toxic" i dont, cuz it evaporates all the way anyways, and N-butane i've used ronsol,but Phife, and others believe u should only use "COLIBRI, NEWPORT, CORA, CTC, COLTON, DUNHILL, DAVIDOFF, FACKELMAN, WIN, NIBO, SAROME, CALOR GAS MATCH, UNILIGHT, K2, SUPERGAS, VENTTI, [and/or] VECTOR."
actually, if u have any other questions they can be answered on this thread, this one is written very well by Phife, this wasnt the one i've seen before cuz he doesnt say to use pvc either.. any question u could possibly have will be in here..

.. if u see those hairs.. its a girl all right... if little things that look like balls or "sacs" pop up in the nodes first.. then its a male.. if its a male, let it grow.. the flower it for one week, chop that shit down n make some oil.. when u do that come backto this thread thats about oil lol..
