BHO Cannabutter Question?

i cooked up a stick of cannabutter with a gram of two of some BHO, but during the process, what looked like a slush of kief swirling around in the melted butter appeared. i put the butter into an ice cube tray to harden and they now look like half chocolate half caramel candies, something definitely separated.

my question to the world is, did i not dissolve the hash enough? it seems like if i cooked with these little sticks theyd mix up well enough, should i go back and melt it down again or am i good to go?

any suggestions on the gross flavor? cant seem to find anything specific to BHO cannabutter. help a brother out!

For one, you need to strain it.
Second, it needs to be cooked in a recipie. Do not put it straight on toast. It will taste like shit.
Bake some cookies or make some Krispie Treats.

just any kind of strainer?

i figured cooking a batch of something would neutralize the nastiness, but i was hoping to make garlic butter. any suggestions? ill be dedicating this batch to some cookies, but ide like to try another soon.

cheeese cloth works good

Cheese cloth works great to strain your mixture.
Peanut Butter Cups also work great and are fairly easy to make.

so i used salted butter, and apparently that stuff at the bottom was a salt/hash combination. guess that wont happen with unsalted. dont mean to nit-pick but if im using BHO and theres nothing but butter going on, do i still need to strain it? doesnt seem like there would be any solids that need removing
