Oh I will. If you do decide to get it make sure you avoid the fem seeds. Never buy fem seeds. They have tendencies to herm. I will Def tell you how it turns out. This is a great yielder too.

Next grow is going to be a scrog. I cant wait. My only concern is sexing the seeds while they are in the net. When i cut out the males im going to have a big gap in the net. Any ideas?

I think that's why most folks use either feminized seeds or (better yet) female clones for scrogs. Of course, it would be more efficient to start with only females in the scrog... but, if this is the only way you can do it (that is, you don't have time to start a batch of female clones or get fem seeds), it can still be done. If you can tell the sex before the 12/12 stretch is complete, you might still be able to fill in some of the empty spaces with the new growth of the remaining (female) plants.

Well 5 are clones off my current grow. 6 are tangerine dream fem seeds 1 g13 labs hypnotic. And 6 exile reg seeds.
A couple things to worry about with fem seeds. 1 they will not all be female and 2 they have a high chance of going herm. D

I don't like fem seeds but they didn't offer reg ones for the tangerine dream. I guess all I have to worry about is the exile and if I get 50% then ill only have to remove 3. And hopefully I can fill in the gaps.

Sounds like a plan, grouch. Honestly, I don't think having to remove a few male Exiles from a screen would really be too bad....the alternative (waiting for preflowers on the Exiles) might be workable, too...as long as the rest of your garden doesn't outgrow your space in the meantime. Can't speak from experience, here, since I rarely veg plants for long enough to see preflowers...I usually switch to 12/12 sooner if I have more than four or five plants going since my space is always limited. Maybe if your Exiles are further along than the others, you'll see the preflowers soon enough to avoid ending up with a "jungle" in your cab. Just something to keep in mind, since you'll have a rather large number of various strains growing in the same screen. It's always easier to do a scrog using plants that have similar growth characteristics, imo...but you do have experience with the strains you'll have in your scrog, so I'm sure you have a good idea as to how much stretch you'll be seeing with them (and how much space you'll need for 'em). With a scrog, you can fill out a surprisingly large area of the screen with one plant if you want to. I assume your screen will be 5' x 5' (?)...the biggest scrog I've ever done was about 40" x 40", and I had six ladies under that one and the screen was entirely filled by the time the plants stopped stretching (but that was done with only a 250w hps and a 150w hps, in 3 gal pots...so I imagine they could have easily gotten out of control if I were using 600w lamps instead).

I ve grown Dinafem, Nirvana, Sannie's, buddah fem seeds. The only ones i wouldnt recommend, were the nirvanas, i had 5 of those, all SUPER hermi, like more male than female, they sent me a replacement, thats what im running now. but i still wouldnt recomend it, the genetics are funky, and unstable, when grown in comparison to these other breeders. The Fem rate of the others ive grown were all 100% ultra vigor, and top quality.

So yesterday I go to check out my room. I grab the door handle and its freakiny HOT! I mean Ouch like it could burn you. I open the door and boom I'm flooded with a heat wave like I just walked out of the airport just flying in to Arizona. What's the temp say 115. My freakiny ducking for my portable ac unit came loose. Hot air was blowing straight on two plants. It basically dry lollipoped one of the tangerine dreams. One of the chocolopes looked almost dead with all the leaves hanging down and moat dyed out. I flooded the plants with water because it looked like they had had water in months. Soil was so dry it looked cracked. I'm at day 51 so worst comes to worst ill have to chop early if they don't look better when I check them later this afternoon. Frustrated for sure.

Ahhh, that sucks, grouch. Salvage what you can at this point, I guess....then go out and get yourself a few rolls of duct tape (maybe some duct clamps as well).

Yeah dude I had a quarter of a roll wrapped around the exhaust ducking and it still came loose. I'm not sure how much of the yield will be lost but I don't think much. It mostly dried out the smaller popcorns. I'm flushing right now so expect some pre and post harvest pics.

ive had this happen before too.. sorry bout your luck bro.. im sure they will make a partial recovery.. but damn 115... wow. I only use clamps on the hot side of my ducting now.. seems the heat just loosens up the duct tape too easy. I hope the damage isnt too bad bro..

Thanks man. Me too thank god it is this late into flowering but I'm sure its going to have some effect on my over all yield. Just hope it does herm any of them in the next week

Just saw your question about scrog. This go around I didn't sex my seeds before I scrogged, and I got some males. :(

It really isn't too big of a deal though, you just get some holes. I'm around day 40 in flowering (forgot exactly when I switched)
IMG_0225.jpg

Edit: The kind of plus side about having holes in the top is that I didn't need to eliminate any of the bottom growth, which is pretty significant for me, I'll definitely make some changes next go around though... like not using chicken wire for one.

I just had to harvest one of my girls at 5 1/2 weeks because she started to herm.. I found a light leak which I think was the culprit.. she still pulled 83 grams.. which isnt bad for only going 5 weeks and some change.. she was only 2-3 ft tall. So im sure it will still be worth your time .. just try not to dwell on it...you will be suprised how much they will bounce back after a few days of good conditions agian :)

Ok so here is the harvest weights. Thanks to all who followed my thread.

Darkstar: 6.6 oz (2 plants) 68 days
Tangerine Dream: 5.5 oz (2 plants) 68 days
Chocolope: 3.4 oz (2 plants) 60 days
Heavy Duty Fruity: 3 oz (1 plant) 62 days
Blue Widow: 1.7 oz (1 plant) 58 days
Magus Exile 1.4 oz (1 plant) 58 days

I have not smoked the Tangerine dream or the dark star yet but the Chocolope was pure fire. Hands down best strain ever. Any questions please ask.

Nice job, grouch. Sounds like your final yields won't be too bad at all.

I'd like to hear your impressions of the other strains (once they're dried and cured a bit).

+rep for a successful grow.

Just so everyone knows. The Tangerine dream is fire. It smokes and tastes amazing.
That's good to hear, grouch...I'm still sitting on a pack of TD, waiting until I've got room for a proper grow.

So, according to Barney's description, "With minimum THC levels of 25% and CBD at 1.8%, Tangerine Dream truly lives up to its name, and Barney's Farm has made it real."

In your opinion....does it live up to their claims - as far as potency is concerned?
