Best Ways to Water

What are some of your guys thoughts on the best way to water?

I'm using a spray bottle right now for my seedlings, I just spray untill I feel enough water has gone down.


How do you guys make sure the water evenly drains through all the soil?

Sounds like you are going in the right route. Your root system will not spread out for a week or so, maintaining just enough water for the roots to strive is best. With ur new ones keep the soil moist not wet and a mist once or twice a day. Good luck!

for seedlings i prefer to use those small cocotec pots and set them in a container and the flood the container and then after 20 mins or so drain the water from the thing the pots are sitting in, or else a turkey baster works good

im experimenting with adding GH nutrients into my water bottle. perhaps it will boost growth even though its ment for hydro. but it is a nutrient never the less right? just a thought.
