Best way to use Jack's Classic Fertilizer

I've heard so much about Jack's Classic I just had to get some. It just arrived in the mail today, so now what do I do? Should I just follow the directions or are there other recommendations out there? I feel like I've been over fertilizing my girls (1100 ppm with each watering in a soiless mix) but I've also gotten pretty good results and am hesitant to use way less which is what I'd be doing if I follow the directions.

I'd love to hear any advice you old pros may have.

Anyone?

I found this interesting post:

These two products will enable you to get the most out of all your outdoor plants in your garden as well as indoor foliage and flowering houseplants.

Designed to give you greener healthier leaves, more flowers and brighter colors.
USE ON: All outdoor and indoor plantings -- for better flowering and vegetative growth
Feed Your Plants Every 10-14 Days--Basically Every Other Week
Your plants need food just like you do! To grow vigorously, they need to be fed and watered cosistently with a high quality plant food--Jack's Classic®.

Alternate Feedings

Start with Blossom Booster 10-30-20 as you water in your plants to develop a vigorous, prolific root system.

After a week, feed your plants with All Purpose 20-20-20
to increase their size and keep the leaves green and healthy. Continue to alternate feedings every two weeks to keep your plants blooming and showing bright, beautiful colors.
Try "The Dynamic Duo" in Combination
Instead of alternating products, try All Purpose and Blossom Booster in combination! In a typical TWO-gallon watering can, add 1 TBL. of All Purpose and 1 TBL. of Blossom Booster.

IDEAL FOR CONTAINER GARDENS!
Recommended by Jack Peters himself
I've also read some interesting things about using Osmocote Plus (15-9-12) and nothing else from seedling to harvest. Sounds pretty damn simple.

I feed with Jacks at every watering. For veg I follow the directions (1/4 teaspoon/gallon) and alternate between Bloom and All Purpose (start with bloom), and then double the dose during flowering. I use All Purpose during flowering until I start to see some bud development and then mix All Purpose and Bloom before finally switching over to Bloom only once the stretch is over. Occasionally I'll do an All Purpose only watering later in flowering to give a little nitrogen boost.

Even though I'm using way less nutrients than most growers my plants are lush, grow fast and the leaves stay green through the flowering cycle. They seem to love the stuff and I don't need to do a big flush because I'm not overdosing them on nutes. For example, during veg Jacks comes out to about 280ppm and during boom about 700ppm.

I've used plenty of other nutrients but Jacks works great, is easy to use, and is cheap. Better than GH or Advanced Nutrients IMO. Those companies thrive on confusion and hype.

Uh oh! Did I just say something bad about AN? Better get ready for the haters (i.e. AN reps posing as consumers). Guess I'll head over to my undisclosed location and wait out the storm.

Thank you! Do you know if effectively they send to internationals clients ? Do you use this product ?
So long as there is no mailing/importing restrictions set by your government or the U.S. mail system, you should be able to get some. This will be my first grow using Jack's Classic products (switching from Botanicare's PureBlend Pro products), but others are having great results using it. I have three Matanuska Thunderfuck seedlings in cups right now, and they will be my first grow using Jack's Classic. Fingers are crossed! :-)

Here some like me use nitrofoska , from a laboratory that is in belgium. Composition is 12-5-14 and results are excellent for vegetative state. But in flowering i want to have more potasio and fosforo , so i was looking for blossom booster.

And also for next generation i want to try classic for vegetative.

Here is the link to see nitrofoska :

Okay, maybe I can't get a hold of Jack's. What other price-efficient fertilizer can I get at Home Depot or the Gardening section of Wal-Mart? Actually, I don't care if it's price efficient, I want it to be flower efficient.

Any help? I'm already on week 2/3 of veg state. I haven't fed at all. Just put them in soil and watered them and whatnot.

My current grow:

You should be able to find Jacks at any good local garden store. I would check them out before anything from HD.

So every water a top per gallon?? I have a plant outside right now. Using jacks but not nearly at this level. I see she's deficient. Maybe I shall try this route.

Jack's classic and dyna-grow are designed different different things.

dyna-grow gets it's N through nitrates (calcium nitrate and potassium nitrate), while jack's classic gets it from urea.

This makes jack's classic more suitable for lime amended soil and peat based potting mixes, while dyna-grow is more suitable for mediums without lime or other insoluble forms of calcium.

It is not recommended at all to use jack's classic in a DWC. Jack's has a hydroponic line that gets all its N from nitrates. It's not there just to trick you into buying more products, they are actually designed very differently.

Good evening. This question is for DWC user.

I'm about to put a PPP and a Master Kush in Bloom cycle using Jack's Hydro nuts. I've used 5-12-26 and 15-0-0 in a 2/1 ratio for the 7 weeks of veg to a maximum ppm of 750.

Question:
- what should be the ratio of 10-30-20 / 15-0-0 and 5-12-26 during the bloom cycle :wall:

Thanks for your time

I grow in soil and use this spreadsheet to figure out how to get an NPK ratio from multiple products like that. I think hydro users typically use the program "hydrobuddy" to do that with chemical compounds to reach "profiles?" But, for combining blended products just to get an NPK ratio, my mind works more like that spreadsheet.

If you're asking what NPK ratios you should use, the ones I use are in my sig. But, I don't know if they apply to hydro. For example, I finish at 1-2-1.8. I think it's common(?) for hydro growers to go higher to 1-3-2 (which is your bloom product 10-30-20). If you'd finish at that, then the question would be how to transition to it (all at once as a "booster?", mixed with the other product(s) to get 1-1.5-1.5?).
