Whats up guys... wanted to know what your ideas were for the best way to setup SOG on a 4x4 flood table under a 1k hps? Using a 96 Turbo Kloner also so yeah, looking to maximize the amount of clones on the table. How many? How would it be setup..

Try and get a ounce a plant and it'll be a pound I'm trying to do a 4 x 8 and a 3 x 5 table like this next round going from soil to hydro guy here so let's hope the yields are nice I was thinking possibley dwc but I like s o g growing

go with 5" net pots, and grow i a soil less mix like sunshine 4. you could squeeze 25 under a light and get approx 2.3 lbs.... I know because I use the same formula. I am using 3 lights, but my bed is 12'x5 and I get 7 lbs.... so actually, your bed is a food narrower, but you could get them in there. With good pruning, and a trellis net, your good to go....

so you pull 1.5 oz per plant in a sog with 25 plant under 1k ??How much veg time from rooted clone

In a 4x4 table i'd keep the plant count at 24 ,i do sog single cola style in a 4x8 table & load 50 per table , i use clones that are 6 to 8 inches high with a minimum of 6 nodes per clone & let them get well rooted before loading into 5 inch net pots ,no veg time , i use chunks of sponge to fill the net pot & the net pot goes into a mediumless table that has a plastic lid on it's top , table is light with 3 600 hps & yeilds are around 1.25 to 2 zips per pot every 8 weeks with very little trimming , plants end up looking like mini xmas tree's.

A high yeild of well past a gram per watt seemed unbelievable to me also , i grew over 20 yrs & couldnt bust a gram per watt , now anything under 1.25 g per watt means somethings off or my clones werent up to par .

It took me over a year learning from Albfuct to understand why & how but its all in the clones , you must have large clones with multiple nodes , preferably 6 or more nodes & no branches , all nodes must be closely grouped on a single branch , using veg time to make up for unsuitable clones actually works against you , go to the sticky of Al's ( A Batch of clones ) & look at his choice of clones , you'll see all single branches with multiple tightly packed nodes & NO SIDE BRANCHING, put 50 clones like that in a 4 x 8 & you'll beat any previous yeilds you've had .

Hitting 1.5 g per watt allways sounded like people were lying to me , that is until i put the effort into replicating their methods now 1.5 is a normal thing for me .

I will find out this summer. I have a 4x8 table but I will be running 2x600 magnum hoods. Sea of green hempy style, with 100-120 clones (6-8"). Will be shooting for 1.2 gpw.

What do you think is better for yield

2 1000 in 8x8 tent and 6 big dwc plants

Or just do 2 1000s in a 10x10 tent and two 4x8 flood trays with 100 clones?
