I'll look into it thanks!Sounds like it would work... but if it were me, I would use pressure treated T1-11 as it can withstand water better than OSB
Just an idea... would hate to see you have to redo it after a short period. I am sure there are even better ways, but I have been sampling the meds I grow so I might not be thinking all that clearly... Hope it works out for you...I'll look into it thanks!

I like that idea but Plexiglass is not the cheapest thing in the world and my neighbor behind me is a cop so I need to make sure everything is light tight I'm thinking im even going to be regretting taking all the blackout shit off just for a few mins to bolt the ac inI put a window shaker in my bedroom casement every summer and I have a plexiglass piece that fits in the frame above it and I have predrilled the frame and use screws, washers, and o- rings. Once I had all the things ready it takes 15 min to install. FYI I used the dremel saw to cut the plexiglass and have reused it for 6 years
Your right it's not cheap, plywood will work. I reuse it so cost overall is not bad.I like that idea but Plexiglass is not the cheapest thing in the world and my neighbor behind me is a cop so I need to make sure everything is light tight I'm thinking im even going to be regretting taking all the blackout shit off just for a few mins to bolt the ac in
