Best way to make hash with stems and leaves

I just harvested my plant yesterday and i put all the buds in a shoebox with holes and left it in my garden shed which is cool and dark (should be fine right?). The point being I've got a shit load of stems and leaves in a separate box which still have THC stored inside and I wanrted to know what would be the easiest, quickest and most efficient way to make some hash with them. suggestions please! :weed:

If you have access to dry ice....no mess, no fuss, no water to evaporate... Pure trichomes that you can press into hashish. Just take a bubble bag, put it in a 5 gal bucket, and put weed trimmings and dy ice in together. Be careful handling dry ice as it will freeze burn your skin with bare contact. Use gloves.. Agitate bucket with the dry ice and weed trimmings in it for a 3 to 5 minutes. Carefully remove bag and carefully shake micron bag over a clean, dry, flat surface. The frozen trichomes will filter through the micro openings in the bag and fall onto your surface. Take a credit card and scrape together..ENJOY!! Here is a LINK to see it in action. Good luck! :leaf:

THC is not "stored" in the stems and leaves, but the trichomes (crystals) on the leaves, only the crystally stuff is worth using, the other stuff will just turn your hash green and possibly make it taaste bad

what i do is take the valuble trimmings (once dried) and put them in a jar with some bolts, or anything heavy that will break up the leaves, and cover it with a couple layers of cheese cloth, and then you put the jarr with trimmings inside into the freezer for a couple hours, then shake the hell out of it over a glass tray then sracpe up all the trichomes and press hash!

Not true. I've gotten some pretty good hash from what looked like complete garbage. You never know whats there till you run it through the bags.

I do a really ghetto method.

I freeze it all for a bit, then put it in a bowl or bucket then add Ice, let the ice melt into it until about 50% has melted, then I whisk the hell out of it with an electric whisk.
I then pour this through two sieves, one large enough to take out the large debris, the second a tea strainer to catch the little bits, then you let the liquid settle over several hours, then drain off the water (you will see a sediment layer at the bottom).
Spoon the sediment onto some tin foil and allow to dry, (I usually put the foil around a Jar Lid to create a shallow bowl. Once dried its sticky as hell and potent as hell to!

hope it helps.

If you dont want to do that, just buy some bubble bags, same thing just more proffesional.

buds in a shoebox in your shed will more than likely end up rotting away, are they just piled on top of each other?

fresh cut buds should be hung ideally or atleast layed down with pleanty of air around them.

iff you want an easy way to make hash look up the gumby hash method.

nah they aren't in the shed anymore the box has rice in it in order for the water to leave via osmosis.

Its not worth making bubble hash with leaves and stems unless its the trim and stems from the buds themselves.

I use that stuff to make cannabutter or iso hash.

when you whisk it does it get liquified? Because i can't find the attachments for my whisker and i was considering liquifying it...

No it does not get liquified, it breaks up quite a lot (sometimes i have to stop and dig bits out of the attachments) Its all down to the Trichs being non soluble in the water, you freeze them so they will snap off during the process then when the trim is removed they fall to the bottom of the water creating the sediment layer which is kinda gold in color. Once this is collected and dried it is very very sticky, personally I roll it in some kief to give it a dryer outer layer then create a series of laces out of it which i then continue to roll on a glass table until they are very thin, i put one lace in each Joint as you do not need much for a good high, a little of this stuff can go a long way.

I dug this out, its an eight part series on youtube using the bubble bags, because i could not afford the bags I simplified the method down to a truly Ghetto level.
If you watch the series you will see the principle of the method, just instead of catching it in the bags, I let it settle to the bottom of a glass bowl.

I like your idea, but whats the point of ice if youre just letting it melt?

Dry ice ,Or I also beat it over a bubble bag old school Morrocan style. This makes very nice hash then ,I heat it so it ends up in block form ,But most of the time I use sugar leave in oil .fans and stems go to compost.

Bubble bags are mesh filter screens of different micron size that will fit into a bucket. The ice/plant mixture is placed inside the bag and agitated. Material smaller than the micron size of the bag is left in the water and you repeat the process with a smaller micron bag...

Don't risk putting your bubble bags in harm's way over sticks and stems. Find another way to use them, like tea. Bubble hash is fun to make once or twice, and then it's a lot more fun to just use a bag and some dry ice. Everything else gets turned into food grade RSO.
