Ok so I have a DWC grow and several small organic soil grows going on. My question is whats best way to get clean fresh water to these babies?

I been using my tap but i found out it has chloramine in it. I been using this for my DWC grow as well. I am kind of concerned about it, and would like to use fresh water if possible. I just dont see buying small gallons everytime.

Only options I can think of is to 3 5 gallon jugs and fill her up everytime i water? kinda time consuming

Or get some filteration system and build a tub to keep clean water in of some sort.

so far I see the 5 gallon jug as a option. It is time consuming but I would rather do that and down the road invest in something better. I want to make sure I do not loose any potency or taste by using nasty tap with chloramine in it.

Yes which is over 75 bucks but then what? get a huge container and store water? then how do I get water out? get a pump with hose and hook up with sprayer?

Its very easy to get clorimine out of your water, I'd google to see what products there is to get rid of it. I also heard that if you let the water sit, it (or chlorine) will sink to the bottom and you just suck up the water from the top.

If you want to get clean filtered water your going to have to filter it. There's no way around it. In 3rd world countries they get jars with sand and other materials to filter the water but that uses alot of space and can be as expensive as that $70 system your talking about unless you already have the materials lying around, and they dont have to deal with clorimine so i dont know it would work in your situation. If your going to be picky about water quality your probably going to have to pay to correct it i suppose. And $75 bucks for a filtration system? thats cheap, my buddy paid $300 for his, though he has 100+ plants to water. All he does is place the hose at the end of the filter to a tank, at the end of the day it is filled enough to water from.

Put a few buckets out and collect rain water, thats as good as it gets for plants IMO.

I guess I am just better off getting 3 or 4 5 gallon jugs and filling them up every week. Wonder If neighbors get suspicious..... better to do at night lol..
