Best way to germinate autos?

Hey I got some autos and I'm really trying to get the most out of them and not stunt them in even the slightest way possible, from the start.

For normal seeds I let them sink in water then plant them in soil.

I just pop em right in the dirt in a 3 gallon pot. Keep em moist and let em grow au-natural

i do the damp paper towel method and im germing 3 now started last night
