Best Way To Clean This Bong?

I've got this small glass bong. I'm attaching a picture of it. The bowl is easy to clean, I just pull it out and put it in alcohol with the kosher salt then pull all the resin out with Q-Tips and such. But the bottom, bulbous, part of the pipe is getting nasty. What is the best was to get down in there and scrub the sides of it? I'd greatly appreciate any advice. Nothing like smoking out of a freshly cleaned piece. Thanks.

do the same as you do with the bowl. just throw some alchy in the bong along with some salts and plug both the openings on the bong and shake and swoosh that shit around. may take a few rinses as it will clean up and make that alcohol nasty quick. good luck

fill it with warm water take a tube brush and glasscleaner, ive tryed it and worked but youl have to rinse the hell out of it.

Rubbing alcohol + sea salt works wonders.

another good product is bilge cleaner ... yes, the one they use in boats to clean the bilges. It's very bio degradable and non-toxic. Mix a cap or two with water, give it a good shake or two, soak it in over night and give it a rinse in the morning. If it doesn't get it all, then go to the salt and alcohol.

i found that spice grinders have a very lare size of kosher salt grains in them i use them with rubbing alcohol for all my cleaning haha

Just add ISO alcohol, then make it into some resin hash.

Use ISO alcohol... rubbing alcohol, highest, cheapest % you can get. Then add salt.... i buy big things of epsom salt 69 centsUS..... fill it like 1/4-1/2 the way with alcohol then add a GENEROUS amount of salt, cover openings and SHAKE vigorously... The rubbing alcohol breaks down the resin/tar... salt doesn't dissolve in alcohol.. so it solid... and rubs the stains/tar off the glass WITHOUT scratching your glass!

Rinse your bong daily to reduce buildup.. I wash mine like a dish. Even put it in my dish strainer when I'm done using it for the night.. I never leave water in it or you get a ring stain..

I like 420 glass cleaner. I know some of you are against using it but I think it works great

running very hot water through it first helps Alot!

I tried everything I could think of and the cheapest and best I've found is, my grandad's denture cleaning tablets!!... Basically it is just bicarbonate soda mixed with water and you could also put a splash of white vinegar in there as well. If left over night your bong will be sparkling by the morning... No scrubing with pipe cleaners etc needed...!

Never use anything other then coarse sea salt then add 70% Isopropyl Alcohol. Swish around done. Cost pennies per use comes out crystal clean and don't buy that expensive "bong" cleaners haha... lol kids.

That bong buddy prolly isn't as good for ones with ice pinch's.

The buddy works brilliantly, but as Bwpz said probably won't fit down in there with an ice pinch. Prior to owning a buddy though I used to have a bendable wire brush with tough plastic bristles all around it, making it perfect for cleaning out bongs.

1. go to dollar store
2. buy mean green for 2 bucks
3. soak any glass piece for a couple hours
4. rinse clean
5. never let your piece get that nasty

note: never use hot water, it will make resin stain your glass. Use cool water and degreaser every couple weeks and pipe will always look and taste new

I use a cheap nylon brush. I have a big and small one. Throw about a half cup of rubbing alcohol, dash of salt, dash of larger sea sea salt, cork off the end, shake, use nylon brush, rinse...= brand new every time. takes 2 minutes

Okay people, listen up. Hot water and dish washer machine crystals. Dissolve crystals in super hot water. Soak till the water cools and swish. BTW, this combo will clean anything. it breaks down the matter with enzymes. same thing as oxyclean, almost. Another good cleaner for a bong is Orange cleaner, Get the cheap $1 store. spray and swish or soak.

I have a glass bong, half that size and it takes minutes to clean it from blackest nasty crap to new.
To clean deep spots try strips of paper towels wrapped around a chop stick. better than q tip
