Hello, i am searching for COBs, DIY project. I found these ones, please say your opinion:
-30E10K0-D-73
-30E10K0-B-73

-30G10K0-B-73
-30G10K0-C-73
-30G10K0-D-73
4000ºK would be useless in this purpose, right?
-40E10K0-C-72
-40E10K0-B-73
-40G10K0-C-73

I heard the best model is 35E10K0-C-73, but i can't find it. What do you think guys? Which one do you think is the best COB? What about the ones i found? Which one would you go for?

Or better 3x CXB 3070 BB???

I plan to buy 3, then, which driver would I need for your choice?
(For 3x cxb3070BB i would go for 120H-1400, but i have no idea for vero29 gen7)

Thank you all in advance.
I want to start as soon as possible.

Please, answers.

Mercian? I don't think so

I think they don't ship to Europe.

What about the models and the driver for 3 cobs
I deduced the info you need from clicking on northern grow lights website and digikey link he has and comparing your product numbers.

It's all there for ya. Just research some more. You'll be more happy knowing how to get the info yourself.

This you mean

"Type B" I guess is referred to 30E10K0-B-73??? But it's shape seems hexagon, not circle like 30E10K0-D-73

No option for type D 3x? Only 4x? XD

For 3 COBs 1050mA will be enough?

Is it the super duper vero 29 gen 7 that we can get for only 25 bucks at northern growlights? That seems really awesome. Damn, my light could have been much cheaper. Awesome, though.

Finally i followed the advice of that site (NGL) and bought 3x bxrc-30e10k0-b-73 with a hlg-185h-c1050b.

I could save around 30 bucks in total (maybe i will pay more in the light bill :( ), but now i wonder if i run them at low current and spending 50w more... Is better choice than 3x cxb3070bb with 120-1400 driver. Which would spend just 150w in case of 200 (185 driver). My space is 80x50(cm). And actually cxb is 3500K, the vero29 3000. I will use them for growing and blooming so maybe 3500. The good point is that probable i will get more lumens in total? And lum/w?

Just curious, how many PPFDM will i get with those 3x vero29 @ 1050mA??

Thanks for the anwers buddies!

Curious, does it matter a huge deal between 3000, 3500... 4000, 5000 cct? I see those are the 3000.
Since the end goal is bud and bud benefits from a red spectrum then it would be helpful to keep your cobs at 3000, 3500 (or even 4000k for Vero 29) but they all are full spectrum and will grow from start to finish with little variance.

Before everything arrives, how is it recommended to adapt the cob to an arctic cooler? Just thermal paste and a pair of screw, how would you do this with and without a drill. Which size might have the screws and drill? I think I will do it without a drill, by screwing could it go inside? XD

How often do you change the thermal paste? -> new holes XD

Is it possible to plug the 3 cooler's fan to the driver or It's better to do it in another different power supply?
