Best Veg. Fert....Got an opinion?

I just have one plant for now and am growing strictly for my own consumption, not for sale. She is flowering now, 3rd week. BUT....I have started another plant and this time I want to give her a little veg. nute. Big one had MG Granuals...not too good from what I've read. I am using Nirvana Super Bloom for my big girl, but what would YOU recommend for my Veg.?? Here's my new baby, which I believe to be in the WHITE Family.

I went to the FOXFARM web site, but I cannot see where they recommend one over another....What do you use?

i just bought and am using canna vega, i got canna flores and canna boost stimulator too, my m8 had a excellent tastey crop using them so im havin a go now. Check my gallary for a pic of the nutes.

I use botanicare progrow/bloom. I am also starting to use Alaskan Fish Fertilizer which can be found at walmart for veg, it is acidic so I have to adjust the pH but it works well.

Walmart, eh? I live in the mountains on the East coast, and the little town here just doesn't carry ANYTHING! I've brought everything online so far....but That does sound interesting. THANKS! Anybody else?

check out Advanced Nutrients,,they have a 2 part for veg and bloom plus some extras,,I just used them ,,,,and a 3 part for the HoLE grow,,that's what I'm using next:hump:

if you dont have much you can grind together banana peels for potasium coffee grinds for nitrogen and some ground up fish for phosforus

For the last 5yrs I've used 20-20-20 for veg & 10-52-10 for flowering...I've had different opinions on that , but it's worked for me. I had nute burn once, but it was my fault...I stay away from time release....feed them yourself. I'm using * plant prod* right now......I can spend a wack of cash at "specialty" places...sometimes
just paying for the name.............I do know that Canna products work real well...I've seen the results from a fellow RIU'ers grow......wow

All great ideas....THANKS! One thing I've noticed is that it seems that alot of people use different types for their grow & veg & bloom. Very interesting....Would like to hear more!

I just picked up some Alaskan Fish Fertilizer, its 5-1-1 and it tells me to mix 2 tablespoons per gallon of water. It tells me to apply every 3 weeks during vegatative. Is this barking up the wrong tree or was it 9 dollars well spent? In the past I have used aquarium water out of the piranah tanks, it was mostly rotten goldfish pieces, worked like a dream.

I use General Hydropoics 3 part Micro, Grow and Bloom, so far its been working pretty good on my Big Bud and White Widows.

Yeah I am using dirt, I have read mixed reviews on here about Superthrive, everything from its a miracle to its snake oil. On another garden site a guy tried to compare an acid in Superthrive to the same chemical found in agent orange??? I think I am going to try it though thanks for the help. You are right its Alaskan Fish Fertilizer, I made the emulsion part up. Come to think of it I don't know what emulsion is, haha.

i dont grow in dirt just hydro but i hear sensi bloom is good in both

i use either that or AN 3 part when i grow it is the best imho

i never tried superthrive but i hear both good and bad like u
my advice is to try it but start at maybe half or third strength just in case

u can always go stronger if things are good
