Best Vaporizer?

I smoke a lot and I think it would be worth the investment to get a good quality vaporizer. I'm not looking to spend a thousand dollars, but i'm not looking to cheap out. I know next to nothing about vaporizers other than the basic principle of how they work. I have my sisters old one but it doesn't seem to work very well. It looks similar to this:



It has 2 separate heating elements and smoking tubes (although 1 of them is broken and non functional). It doesn't work very well though. It takes forever to heat up and seems to be rather ineffective. It will work if I sit there and keep hitting it over the course of like 10 minutes until it starts tasting like burnt popcorn.

Is this just an ineffective vaporizer or is that something im going to run into with any vap?

What is the best type of vaporizer?

1. If money is no object buy the volcano for $700 or whatever

2. Otherwise buy the Da Buddha for about $159. It is a great unit and built like a tank! If I had to pay $400 to get mine back I would. Try gotvape.com

yea the volcanos are nice but they are expensive a hell.. the da buddah one is alot cheaper and it works great. it durable and portable cuz it comes with a hemp travelin bag for it.. and the plus side you wont pay 700 bucks for it

yes and if you want one that does the same for less money..the herbal air is great too

I have a volcano and its great, but I'm sure you can get something 90% as great for half the price (I got a complete classic solid set with the case and shipping for 520). Just be sure to get a unit that blows air through the herb and not one that makes you suck it yourself (as those tend to burn the herb up more than needed, releasing more carcinogens and producing a harsher vape). That is one reason the volcano is extra awesome, the herb isn't heated by metal just hot air, more consistent this way too

I know this thread is kind of old but I just found it on google for my search of "best vaporizer", anyways I figured I'd leave a link to some decent reviews that look more up to date, see http://extremevaporizers.net/ from the looks if you want a home vape then the Volcano is praised to be the best. I want a hand held vape though so I might try the Magic Flight Box. Peace.
