seemed like a good one sirdabs :]

sooo, looked at reviews. listened to grow goddess..

went ahead and upgraded!! should be here sooooon, APV :]

If you ask me, in my honest opinion, the SVD is the all around best vaporizer in the world for the price. Whether it is for e-cigarettes or e-cannabis. So far I have tried QWISO and RSO each mixed with PG USP and I have not smoked or vaped anything better than what I can with the SVD. Never tried waxes, but I am sure if you melted the wax and mixed PG USP into it it would be great. I like to leave mine set at 4.8 volts and use the watt/power button to accommodate my vaporizing needs.

Please let us know how it works out for you. I think it is a great alternative to smoking. It can be an expensive hobby, but I truly consider it a medicinal quality use of marijuana.

That is cool that ya'll say it looks like a light sabre, I thought the same thing too!! I Love Star Wars!

The power button kind of looks like HAL-9000 from the movie 2001.

Towards the end of this blog, if something happens to your SVD, I have a link to a place where you can get a small kit for less than $37, free shipping too! I like the SVD so much I ordered a third one!! Call me crazy if you must :) ! As I get more information and access to less expensive parts, I will add them to this blog. http://michiganmedicalmarijuana.org/blog/532/entry-1026-my-experience-with-portable-vaporizers-pen-vaporizers-for-concentrated-cannabis-oil-and-e-cigarette-oil/

The SVD will do it all. You can even attach G-Pen accessories if you have an adapter. Just the way it comes with eGo and 510 threads, most companies parts will attach to it. If they won't there is probably and adapter out there.

For example: one picture shows my SVD with an Essential mini attachment which is meant for waxes and such. It threaded right on and I can use it better with the SVD than with their batteries. With the SVD you can lower or increase the temperature, it can be adjusted perfectly to accommodate the oil. There are even attachments meant for vaping buds that will attach to the SVD. I have not used any of those though so I cannot properly comment about them. the 710 pen parts will fit the SVD too. You can simply purchase a replacement heating element and screw it on to the SVD. The SVD displays the resistance (ohms) of the attachment which helps in setting the power properly.

I recommend the AW batteries for the SVD. I also recommend the TrustFire battery charger. Also, the SVD is like two different vaporizers in one. Using the short battery it is mini sized, then if you use the longer battery it is larger. Very noticeable on the size difference between batteries used. For the few extra bucks that you pay for the SVD compared to other vaporizers of similar construction, it is well worth it. Just the looks alone it is worth it. You can hold down the buttons and lock the settings to where you can't accidentally change the settings.

I must say, my favorite attachment is the iClear30 that comes with the full kit.
This is filled with QWISO made with Blueberry Jam. The solvent used to make the QWISO was 190 Everclear. After the QWISO was finished, I warmed it up to add some PG USP and it was ready for the vaporizer.

The liquid type pens do have distinct advantage in that they are much sturdier and easier to load for the long term. If the SVD can do wax straight out the jar I'd be interested in checking it out. Grow goddess does make the process of making vape liquid sound like a snap though. After just breaking my 3rd glass globe so far I am open to other options but the main reason I flipped for the globe style pen in the first place was how cheap they are...guess you get what you pay for in that respect. Managed to find a seller on Ebay that sells "THICK-er" replacement globes for ego vapes. Got a few on order so we shall see exactly how thick they are but I might find myself looking into one of the liquid style vapes before long. Giant clouds of vapor yall peace

The SVD does it all my friend. Your eGo globe should screw right on to the SVD and the SVD should operate that globe far better. With the SVD you can adjust the temps to what meets your needs.

Making wax or shatter into a liquid is a snap. Just put your wax in a small metal or glass cup and put that onto a coffee mug warmer until the wax melts. Then add some PG USP https://highdesertvapes.com/products/USP-Kosher-Proplyene-Glycol-(PG).html (only $3.99 for 120 mL, should last a while) until you reach your desired thickness and mix well. You may want to remove it from the heat and put it back on a few times. When the mixture is well blended just suck it up into a syringe and inject into a clearomizer for e-juice. You have to be careful to not overheat because it will cause the PG USP to vaporize. I only leave it on the heat for a few seconds and go back and forth to be sure it is infused. Keep in mind this is the process I use with my RSO and QWISO, with waxes it may be different. I have noticed different concentrates require anywhere from 30%-70% PG added to it. Personal preference and what device you intend to use works into that equation too.

You can pretty much use any attachment with the SVD as it takes eGo and 510 threads.

Here is a link to where you can get an SVD cheap with no attachments. Somebody else here on the forums showed me this company. Free shipping and no tax too!

I just placed an order with them, they estimated up to 30 days for delivery though. It may be wise to wait and see how my order works out. As soon as I receive my order and check everything out, I will immediately post to my blog. Also, I will very soon be reporting on my blog possibly about a superior iClear 30b. It is a completely new design. The coils are on the bottom so gravity helps assist the vaping. They also make an iClear 16b. Just so I can compare them with their main competitor, I also ordered a Kanger Pro Tank 3. The Pro Tank 3 is made with glass instead of plastic. I have heard of complaints of them leaking due to the bottom coil, but, I have also seen videos that show they are worthy. My first guess is that the iClear 30b from innoken will be better because of the way the coils are designed. The coils criss-cross which I believe to be superior. I have recently ordered these items from various stores and as soon as I get them, I will fill them all with the same oil, use each one on the SVD and give a full report on my vaporizing blog.

I must thank Dragon311 for making me aware of the new innoken iClear 30b tanks, which are bottom fed with stumpy wicks. Potentially more efficient in every way. Keep an eye out on my blog. I update as soon as I have new information to share, which will be very soon.

Don't get me wrong midnitetoak, I still like my eGo C Twist pen batteries for stealth reasons and sometimes I choose that so I won't break my SVD if I am on the go.

Either way, concentrates are the way to go for me! I only ingest it or vape it.

I agree. Out of about 8 different vapes Ive tried, the Globe is the best tool to smoke wax from. You can find them on ebay for 6 bucks, I recommend the one that has the thread that absorbs that is wrapped in a coil. Just gotta make sure to pack wax on sides and not push down on coil and it will last.

As far as pen, I recommend the E-go twist, on ebay you can get them for about 15 bucks, it allows you to choose your voltage. Turned up to >3.8 volts it vaporizes 3.9-4.3 gives nice hits and 4.4- 4.8 burns the hell out of it like a nail, deep cough hits but smoke is shot, burns throat a bit.

Just my .02

Ok so I tried a few different kinds of vape pens with varying degrees of success until I got this one & now the search is over. If you are looking for a reliable vape pen to smoke your concentrates on the go look no further than the globe vaporizer. There are several brand names out there with similar designs but this one is made by E-go & uses any standard 510 threaded ecig battery. If you want one look for models with a ceramic bowl like this one, $13 on eBay plus you'll need a battery.
I was using a white rhino dv2 that does work ok but every 3 hits you have to move the wax back onto the heating element for it to keep working...what a pain in the balls! With the globe style vaporizer you can see it working before you hit it and the wax doesn't need to be perfectly positioned for it to vaporize your shit effectively; just lay a piece on top & press the button for 4 sec. If you pack enough wax/shatter (and your friends aren't greedy) it'll make it around a small circle unlike other vapes I've tried so far. Check it out:

I saw somebody at an event had made herself a nice hemp necklace out if her vaporizer & she walked right through security check while wearing it without question...great idea! What kind of vape pen are you using & how do you like it? There's just so many to choose from nowadays
nice! i'm always looking for something "unassuming"..bookmarked!

Some new equipment for the SVD!

Bottom fed heating coils. Haven't tried them enough for a full opinion, but first impression is that they deliver some wicked hits.

The Pro Tank 3 with a glass drip tip is the whoop!

The iClear 30b seems very high quality, top notch.

Love those custom glass tips
Here is one source.
You will have to flip through the pages to see all of the custom glass tips. They mixed them in with the custom glass tanks. Many are sold out. Some will state that it is the only one or only 5 made in the world. Whether it is used for e-ciggs or e-cannabis, they do improve the taste. Nothing like having your own custom rig.

That is the one good thing about the pro tank 3, it accepts standard 510 drip tips. The glass tip I have on mine, there were only 3 made. Has a big effect on the taste vs. metal tips.
