it really is strain dependent, but IMO most strains dont like it above 80f. unless your really cranking the co2, and even then, my plants dont like it above 82

Switched to HPS today, Temp jumped to 90 F. What Can I dO!? My 400 CFM Fan is Pulling through the cool tube with all its might. I am exhausting into the attic. Gotta Keep the tent closed for the stench. Opinions Plz

Is the fan an inline fan or a "duct" fan? If its a duct fan then scrap it and buy a 4-6 inch inline fan they pull through a filter much better and move alot more air period. If it is an inline fan at 400 cfm in a cool tube then either the temp outside the tent is too hot or you dont have adequte intake. are you using negative pressure for air intake to the tent?

OP I have found that my plants thrive in anything 85f or lower, I usually run 75-78f but even in warmer outside temps when I average 83-85f in the tent the plants seem to thrive and have the same vigor as the lower temps.

Centrifugal inline fan. Only using negative pressure. I added a fan beneath my canopy, and got it down to 88. Intake temp is 72
