Best Strain for Pain

One of my best friends has an auto immune disease that attacks his joints and he is constantly in pain. He eats handfulls of pain pills everyday that basically put him in zombie mode all day. He's a tattoo artist and can only tattoo for a certain amount of time before the pain becomes too unbearable to go on. I was just wondering if there was any specific strain that is good for this type of arthitis pain and if anyone on this board has had any experience with this type of disease? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm not sure on the specs of LSD but from my own research I have found out that strains with higher CBD levels seem to work best for pain relief due to arthritis. However, higher cbd content plants have pretty much been bread out for strains with higher levels of THC. I have heard rumors of Greenhouse beginning working on high CBD strains for the purpose of pain relief.

Sativex, not available in the US of course, is basically concentrated CBD. While its main purpose is for treatment of MS it has been shown to help reduce arthritis pain.

I second the Mr Nice Medicine Man, supposed to be very strong, very high in CBDs. The knock off is Nirvana White Rhino, its gotten a lot of good reviews as well, and it's cheaper and you can get fems so thats a plus.

I'm not so sure about that Hammerhead stuff, Med Man x White Rhino is basically Med Man x Med Man, so whatever.

look for what anyone calls couchlock. if it puts you in one postition for a while, it should be relativly high in CBDs.

in the reading ive been doing, it looks like over growing thru the bud stage can cause the TCH to turn more to a CBD effect.

I just happen to have a few OLD School strains ill be growing out. one was a mid 80s Hawaiian Blue, which would put your ass on the couch basically comatose for a few hrs from a few hits. i have tried to grow out one of the 3 seeds i have, but it didnt sprout. 2 left, so i want to get the process down if i can.

I had one 30yr old seed sprout out of 13 CG seeds from back then. its doing great. Hopeing i can get one of the hawaiians to sprout. was also fortunate to get a seed i got in the early 90s to sprout a week ago, and ealry pearl, which is mostly Sativa, with a lil indica for yield. this wasnt a major pain relaiver, but think it could be if grown out longer. was a good giggle buz.

White strains are painkiller by nature. Widow, White shark, Snowcap, White Rhino etc. Eating Chiba Chews, brownies, honey sticks, cookies and things of that nature will give the same desired effects associated with painkillers. Cheers.

I have been using Chernobyl from TGA & I have arthritis in my left knee, he also has some other strains that are good for pain

I am growing out Dairy Queen now which is also suppose to be great for pain, I am 3 weeks into flowering so I can't vouch for the DQ but Chernobyl works great for me

I hope this helps
