I'm assuming your using CFL,s. I use 5 23 watt 6500k lamps on top pointing down, keeping the lights 4 the 6 inches away from the foliage. These lamps are blue in color. Also I have 2 13 watt lamps on each side of my grow box, so a total of 6 13 watt lamps on the sides. Also 6500k. For flowering I use the same number of lamps and the same watts but the lamps are replaced with 3000k lamps to mimic August daylight conditions. For ventilation I have a 70 CFM fan to cool the box. It's very crucial to keep alot of air moving through the foliage to keep them healthy and strengthen the branches. The grow box is dull white inside and kept clean on a constant basis. Check the lamps daily making sure the closest they get to the tops of the plants is no less than 1 inch from the tops or they will burn. I only grow one plant at a time and this time I will be scrogging. Always good seed from reputable breeders. My box is 2 feet by 2 feet by 3 feet. I usually grow normal 12/12 light cycle plants. I don't like auto,s because the yields are to small. I find auto,s best suited for outdoors. In saying all that I would use the 6500k lamps until they start to flower than switch to 3000k.But I'm no expert on auto,s. I don't mix light spectrum in my opinion mixing them just confuses the plant.

Mate light spectrum doesn't confuse the plant, you can even flower with 65k but plant uses blue spectrum during vegging ie( increase the overal growth) while the red spectrum 27k increases the growth of buds, so red light will bud the plant and stretch it but if you mix ie2:4 you will slow down the stretching while budding it
