best purple strain for commercial use?

well i think the title just about sums it up for me, but what is the best yeilding commercial strain? id prefer something on the indica side that still has some sativa traits. or a short growing fast flowering sativa would work i think something close to 50/50 indica/sativa would be fine. i just dont want it overgrowing my tent i want to grow it with a few other strains. nothing to tall and sativaish lol

I'd say try KO Kush from Sannie. Some pheno's are solid purple and the potency and yield are there as well. It has an alright taste but a little bland for me. I'm assuming purple and yield are your concern but if yield isn't your biggest concern my answer would be completely different.

so stoned have you grown a lot of purple strains? ever try purple widow? ive been looking into this strain a bit, and the price is definatly right. yes I need a large yeild and i could care less about potency. im more looking for color and bag apeal. like i said this is for commercial purposes. i apreceate your responce though thanks man ill check out that ko. is that knock out? sounds familiar...

I've grown a few but never purple widow. If you want bag appeal and purple try almost anything from DJ Short most of his strains have purple pheno's. My Vaniluna is solid purple and it has pink inside when you break her up. Also you could try Killing fields from Sannie seeds, it has some purple pheno's and has really nice yields. The potency can be hit or miss but there are some really nice plants. There are a lot of other purple strains I like but most others are on the low side for yield.

I know ATTITUDE has a section just for PURPLE strains.

yeah ive seen it. i was just looking for some first hand experience. you cant go by everything you read on attitude all the time since it is a business and they are in it to make money. id rather go by someones word with some experience who isnt trying to sell me something. know what i mean?

i completely agree...like i always said to people who just comment on things who cant even support there complaints...if youve got nothing else better to say better keep it to yourself, likewise if you can contribute and give opinions i would like to have an adult conversation with you.

Purple Widow gets super tall and will need to be trained or it will outgrow your tent. It's listed as an outdoor strain for that reason by the breeder.

well im planning on dowing a dwc bubbleponics scrog. do you think it they would take up a lot of space under the screen, if im planning on growing mostly about 50/50 indica/sativa mixes?

i mean mostly all 50/50 besides the purple widow

do you think they would overgrow the other plants? ive never done a scrog before, or dwc for that matter. so i have no idea what to expect really but im not a newb ive been growing for many years. and i have done my research pretty thoroughly. but hydro and scrog are both going to be a first for me. im pretty exited about it. i cant wait to start.

if you want something really sick, get some barney's farm violator kush. its not a purple but its extremely potent. personally im grabbing some kushberry from tude during the special because i really love og.

Some local growers I know out here are having good experiences with Subcool's Querkle and Next Generation's Grape God (with both being purple).
