i like maxsea. others use foxfarm. ive had good results with both but better ones with maxsea. for some reason i get nitrogen def. with fox farm

I would have to say organic mix made with local ammendment , this whats important because if you use ammendments too far out of your range they will be really expensivemade my mix consisted of canola meal,langbenight , Alfalafa, bat guano , kelp and couple more....... I can give you a a calculater i made so you can make your own mix, made a costom fertiler calc so i can costomize npk values

If you want really nice plants it would be nice to prepare your soil right before the winter and let it sit until the growing season. Fill with compost, cow poop, chicken poop, bunny poop, 1 or 2 dead fish, sand, generic potting soil. You wont have to feed until flowering and once the roots hit the fish watch your plant go.
