Was trying to recommend something that if run at higher strengths, it wouldn't be 1/2 as dangerous - is why I'd adjusted my numbers.. but could see any/all recommended working just fine so far.I personally use a 6-3-8 the whole way through veg and bloom with some PK1314 during bloom for a week to 2 weeks.

Wasn't trying to shoot you down, no need to defend your recommendation. Was trying to recommend something that if run at higher strengths, it wouldn't be 1/2 as dangerous - is why I'd adjusted my numbers.. but could see any/all recommended working just fine so far.
Just figured I'd clarify.. no offense was taken - rest assured =)Wasn't trying to shoot you down, no need to defend your recommendation.
My honest answer is that anything can work as long as its handled correctly.
Less is more as far as nutes are concerned.

No worries. Lol.Just figured I'd clarify.. no offense was taken - rest assured =)
During the first 2 weeks of bloom, I'd run 100-200ppm equiv of the cal/mag... as for other times, I watch the plants... that time is critical given what the cal/mag does to help nudge the fast division of cells.. and would also run a higher dosage at 4-6 weeks into flower just the same - as for other times and exact amounts, the idea is that they're trace.. so very low in comparison to the NPK as an aside. These are great replies, can i ask anyone the numbers they shoot for on calcium and magnesium?
3-1-2 is my preferred ratio. It works very well from seed to harvest for me.[/QUOTE
Wow I wonder why no commercial hydro growers in the world run anything close.

Mainly because they don't really care about experimenting with different ratios.
If you're talking about MMJ commercial growers then most opt for organic and can't realistically work out what ratios are being fed to their plants due to the conversion processes by all the good bacteria and fungi.

commercial hydro growers? You mean like tomatoes and such? Or do you mean large-scale mj growers?3-1-2 is my preferred ratio. It works very well from seed to harvest for me.[/QUOTE
