wet paper towel in a container in the cabinet, leave it in there until tap root appears.

yup thats basically it. but dont water it everyday just when it starts to dry out. you want it damp not dripping wet, you might rot the seeds out if its too wet. put it somewhere dark and in 3-4 days they should have tails. then when theyre about 1/2 to 3/4th inch long put em in soil and under some lights.

i just germed some bbxww and they were ready to go into soil in 4 days and now they are on their second set of leaves. they seem to grow pretty fast.

i always do the ziplock method. wet the papertowel and place the seeds in it and fold it up. then place the papertowel in a ziplock and blow some air into it and i put it in a drawer under my pc stays a little warmer in there. I presoak my seeds overnight before i do this. they are usually ready in 2-3 days to be planted.

I like the cup of water method better, seems to be faster and less chance of you damaging the taproot. Fill up a coffee mug with warm water, pop your seeds in there and cover the mug with a plate or something to keep light out. Put your mug on top of your cable box to keep the water warm. Check them every couple hours if you can which will also let some fresh air in the mug. Once you see the taproot sticking out put them in your growing medium and put a light over it to keep it warm. Dont keep your seeds in the water for more than 24 hours, if they still havent sprouted after 24 hours dont worry just put them in the growing medium and they should pop up in a couple days.

I just popped mine in soil and watered. Expecting to see a little sprout break soil in 2-4 days here. Plants grow like that from seed all the time, nature doesn't use paper towels.

There's no one right way to grow/sprout etc...
That said- The way Draig and I do it and get 100% sprout rate and only 1 male in 30-40 plants...

Damp paper towels (not dripping) we use bottled water with a few drops of peroxide added... place on either a heavy plate and wrapped in seran wrap and foil-- or put inside a CD case... either way, we put them on top of our DIRECTV box (in a dark cabinet & is warm) They are usually popped and have a nice short-fat tail in 2 days...

Then I wear latex gloves, and plant them in either peat pellets or Rapid rooters (Soaked then allowed to drain a bit)- root down with the seed-head/shell just showing at the top of the opening...

We then place them in a dome under a 100w CFL in a clamp-light.. they are usually all the way up and open within 48 hours...
We keep them just barely damp, and the dome on (we open it a couple times a day for fresh air) until they get a 2nd pair of true leaves- then the dome comes off and we make sure the airflow is enough that the sprouts "dance' slightly all the time...

As soon as the tips of the roots become visible- we plant them in Party cups that we cut drain holes in the bottom.. we use either Promix or Light Warrior soil-- this is when you would put it into a hydro set-up also... if using peat pellets- get large rockwool blocks with the hole in the middle that will hold the peat pellet/rapid rooter and soak it 1st.. "plant" the sprout in there and then put it into the hydro set....

From here- follow whatever soil/hydro directions you plan to use for growing... If you haven't decided yet-- now is the time to research & decide... ask questions if you are unsure... and remember the 2 most important things for growing--- Knowledge & patience!!! Read-ask- read some more and don't rush anything! ;)
Best of luck to ya!

Have Fun!!

Just my 2 cents but in my experience pot seeds if viable will sprout pretty much in anything if there's moisture. I once had a seed sprout out of the carpet in my university dorm lol. I watered it and it actually grew into a nice little plant. Depending on if its going in soil or hydro will depend on how i germ them. Right into the soil if thats were thier staying and a tupperware container with damp paper towel and takes 48 hours to get seedling if hydro.

It's been 24 hours only 1 of 4 seemed to have cracked already.. I have it in a damp towel in a cd case under my pillow and I've got a heating blanket on top of it; set to low.

Lady Zandra knows her shit.
I plant bag seeds in soil but I germinate my good genetics.
I put all sprouts in 1 gallon buckets until sex is determined or they get too big. I then transplant into final grow bucket, 3 to 5 gallon bucket indoor and 9 to 15 gallons outdoors.
I like mine in their final grow bucket with the least amount of transplanting.
