I have been using Amare Technology for 4+ years, never an issue. He has a new light 'Bar8' which consists of 8 bars, similar to Fluence and others who have finally come around to the bar concept. Amare is a grower who designs for growers. You will likely need to email him for the information, but I saw it and it looks every bit the part

FYI, I have an original BML SPYDR 600 with my blend of monos. The design is good, but the execution- not so much. It doesn't look like they have improved it much in 5+ years

I have one better,

50 cobs at 0.5W per square foot. That would last you forever and you would have the most efficient setup ever.

I was in this exact situation; after having spent the last year completely remodeling our house top to bottom, did not feel like screwing with DIY. I spent six months going back and forth on COB and QB builds and reading the mountains of threads in this sub-forum. I finally decided to go QB and went from DIY XL kits from Growerslights to Timbers DIY to finally saying F'it and just getting a finished light from Dan at Timber. Ended up with 3x 3SAML QB lamps, they are very nice and seem to be growing my new gurls well along with my older TastyLED COB bar. The final decision came down to being able to have an extremely diffuse light umbrella that I could run soft and efficient. FYI I am in a 4x8 and these lights adjust from 30W to 300W.
Great info!!Thanks man

those are awesome, making my decision even harder, may have to do 2 more tents now and do a side by side!
Yes do a side by side with a v2 QB set up vs a chilLED set up.
Cant think I have seen chilLEDs lights in action so it would be awesome to witness

Very tough choice between the following:

going to be hard to choose

Amare solar eclipse 500
fluence spydr (maybe next gen coming soon?)
chill led gen 2 600 watt
timber redwood cs
2x electric sky 300 (thinking of ruling this one out)

Lokigro is running some ChilLED lights in his grow - you can check it out on youtube. But I do wonder when we'll finally see someone on RiU using them. And I wonder how well they're selling...

Hey all it’s been years since I’ve been able to grow. And I am finally able to start again and decided I want to use led.

I currently have a kindled 600w but I know there’s better out there

I am curious to see what everyone thinks the best is , for veg and flower

I was going to post this in the thread for led questions but it was closed
Chilled if price doesn't matter. quantum board if you need a great light cheap

They are selling alot maybe not in the diy community but for bigger operations they are one of the few companies that has a waterproof fixture that's really effecient.

I think they've gotten a bit overboard with making it awesome, and kinda priced themselves out of the range of the casual grower. Now, I've seen a ton of threads where people are adding those deep reds etc, and end up probably in the same price point when all is said and done. If I didn't DIY, I'd still be taking a hard look at the value point for what you get all in one vs adding stuff in along an hlg or whatever.
