Strongest indica i smoked was state enemy number 1.smoked it in a coffie shop and was like a zombie the whole morning

I’ve grown some pretty dank strains over the years, nothing really compares to stuff from that era back in BC imo.
We actually flew up to BC in the late nineties to hit up Marc emery at his shop there on hastings for seeds. We really werent used to those heavy hitting indicas they grew up there as we were only growing bagseed pre internet.

Only "real" og I've tried was tahoe from a med dispo in northern cali mid 2000's. All I remember is it was dank af and obliterated you instantly. I've tried Louis too, but I'm of the opinion that's an OG cross, or something. I've got a few packs of csi's tk crosses, and the tk s1 for when I get the urge to go og hunting

1. OG#18 grown under leds with uvb supplement and late harvest around 84 days of 12/12 (I grew from the same mother several sessions in 2013 and led + uvb + long flower was incredibly better than my previous runs of this strain - better than anything I ever tried at a cannabis cup)
2. Wardareekn og: similar to og18 satisfaction, very refined sour og. This is the only strain ever for me where I took a fat bong hit with a friend sitting at on office desk chairs and we woke up the next day in the same position and we thought 30 minutes had passed and took another round of fat hits and woke up the next day again xD at that point we realized we skipped 2 days...

Notes from my experience:
!!!!! once someone tries good og/sour/chem (with the deep pungent taste that is clearly distinct from other weed) they want nothing else and soon they find out it is Very difficult to find seeds that conform to the description because everywhere people use the terms 'gassy' for weed that has 0 gass, and 'og' for weed that doesn't share the desirable taste and effect of og - - > this results in en experienced growers/smokers often think they know what real og/sour/chem is but instead have never experienced the flowers that can stink up more than an entire football stadium with an eighth alone. Once you grow the good stuff you know because you need to invest in waaay over spec Carbon filters and ona gel etc odor neutralizing products through the house and paranoid of getting caught. I started growing again recently and gone through a bunch of karma genetics and other seeds and clearly haven't found anything because my new 5x oversized Carbon filter is easily handling the situation which would not be the case if I had a proper pungent phenotype.

Genetics worth testing imo:
- good rolex og (the cup winning cut, very different to all other Rolex I came across, which is not impressive at all) check rolex v2 seeds
- lady sativa genetics knightsbridge og
- sour diesel riri cut (ripper seeds fems cheap and good but you need to pheno hunt those s1) good taste, avg power
- good kosher, holy grail and og18 are not to be found in the seeds anymore
- Scott's og, rug burn og, wardareekn... Used to have potential, maybe the newer rd gear has good sour og
- good Casey Jones (has the taste, the effect is average though)
- good pungent cheese

I'm currently hunting through dog patch and sour riri x bubba amoung others.
Going to soon test vader og, check out his website and youtube it seems legit quality.

Recently grew an OG Kush from i49 Seeds that, to this day I still doubt its true OG Kush lineage. .. but MY GOD this is some fabulous smoke! There's an almost unsweet mango or rhubarb, or some myrcene-related vibe, and the exhale is that nice Kush that you expect. Structure thru veg and into flower was just super average, then in late flower BAM! it got dusted by trichome ferries. 9 weeks flower on the dot, never faded or flushed, the pic was days before harvest and I'm on the last of it now, I kinda regret not keeping a cut. She's absolutely "ideal" for something you'd want to smoke daily.

In 1997 or '98 I got a bag of OG Kush in the San Fernando Valley. It was the first time I'd heard of it and I said "This is the best weed I've smoked in years." It never got any better than that.
Have you messed with any of the many "SFV OG" iterations to see if anything strikes a chord...??
