Best investment in your growing?

Hi guys

I was wondering what everyone thinks their best investment or biggest improvement in their growing was?

What was your big game changer? Where do you think money best spent for the return was?

My conversion to COBs was huge for me a while back. Was able to dial in the tent a lot better.

But now I just added a RO water system to the mix. Maybe this will take the cake.

Yeah, getting more/enough lights made the biggest difference for me as a newb... Also, learning LST, supercropping etc... to keep those lights close enough and a proper canopy. Beyond that, the air conditioner I bought - gotta keep that environment correct...

I know this isn't probably what you are asking but my game changer was time. Time to learn and study the how's and why's of plants, soil nutrients, lights and pests. Without learning you are destined to be a consumer and this is an expensive game to play. Too often IMO people are trusting others to do that learning whether that is business selling you something or people justifying their purchases.

I agree. Experience is where most gains come from.

I haven't used it before, but people say you need to watch out for calcium deficiencies because most tap water already has enough... So people supplement RO with cal/mag...
Most of the calcium in water is not a fertilizer :-)

My latest fan is the best thing I bought in a while. Only because it gives me peace of mind and that allows me to fully enjoy the experience without worry my neighbours suspect my activities.

I love a good yield and all but piece of mind is priceless.

Switching from HID lighting to white COBs and white 5w Cree panels years ago was a big deal.
A kitchen scale to weigh everything before I water. Huge!
