Interesting. I just read a Greg Benford about a wormhole with "negative mass" that was caught by a Solar surface filament magnetically. Then it was retrieved. Oy vey, the problems.

That doesn't work with the math. It is almost that. The path the light has to take through the twist of space time, all the way to the bottom, is too long. There is no space path outward.

The other stuff you say is possible.
