What's up RIU,
Just wanted to to start this forum to see What other people like to mix up to mist onto there leaves while they're vegging. personally ive tried every thing from swamp water (not the name of nutrients actual Swamp water...dont laugh I was fifteen) to Plain RO water.
What I have found that works for me is the following:
1.RO WATER IN ZEP SPRAYER about 1 liter
2. Then I add .3 ml (cc) of my veg nutrients (same ones. that i use in my resovoir or any nutrients that have handy as long as they have the essential macro nutrients)
3. .3 ml Of BC Boost
4. Teaspoon or less of magnesium

I usually spray them lightly with a very fine mist twice a day up until i Switch to 12/12 at wich point i stop foil feeding. And Lower humidity to no higher then 55%

I want to know if anyone has there own special concoction. Or if they have any experience with a one part mix with everthing i need. Thanks friends.. keep rockin the ganga

love the Jack's 20-20-20 water soluble - been using it nearly 30 years, even when it was the original Peters.

aerated bat guano tea.
worm casting tea
liquid seaweed,
alfalfa tea

any one of the above or all of the above together.
do you ever have any pest problems using the teas on the leaves? I have been eyeballing all these different teas at my local hydroponics store. I want to get some for my outdoor plants.. I'm tying too switch to all organic. Any one that you can suggest. I know they all have different npk but what is your favorite bat gauno (jamaican, indonesian, Transylvanian:clap: etc...)

I only use organic neem oil as foliar. I've found that using it once every week or two helps keeps any bug issues out of the way, and I don't know if it's just me or not, but the leaves seem greener since I started using it.

Yes neem oil is a very good organic pesticide. Does it have nutritional value or is it just for getting rid of/preventing pest..bbecause when I use it I noticed that my leaves look nice and lush too and I'm wondering if it's just because that neem oil is like putting a coat of wax on there

I truly don't have any idea. One of my strains (Afghani) became infested with aphids. It was the only strain out of four growing in the same tent that had it. Took the neem to them all about 6 weeks ago, and nearly immediately noticed the aphids were gone, and the plants had a more robust look to them, especially the leaves.

Now I use it throughout veg. I'm curious to learn more though.

I have zero pest problems using the teas indoors. Foliar feeding ACT (aeretated compost tea) is to benefit the plant by fighting off any pests. I dont think i've tried the transylvanian guano. I bet it would grow KILLER bud. I like the Indonesian for flower and the Seabird for all around.

The point of the tea is not to deliver NPK but deliver a wide array of micro-organisms which feed the plant and fend off disease.

gotcha..so you keep foiler feeding all the way into flower? How often in veg/flower do you spray them? Do you have it on a schedule?

I usually feed em once in the morning after lights come on and lightly once at night before lights go off. Never perfectly timed Though. I wonder if I had a reservoir strictly for foilage sprayfeeding hooked up to a timer it would benefit my plans a lot more. Wouldn't be hard to make. I just don't know if it would be worth the money and time.... if i knew it would increase yield id be in the garage making it...any input on timed foil feeding.

Maybe hook it up to were they get mist on them in the morning a minute or two before lights come on.

I usually spray veg plants once per day with at least a light misting of RO water. One a week or so I mist with the guano tea or seaweed. I mist plants for the first 14 days in flower but not every day. I do not mist after 24 days.

Ok cool. I was always taught stop misting them when they get switched to flower. I don't see how it wouldnt help them if i continued feeding a few days into flower. Im going to get a tea today. im going to mix a little neem oil in there with the gauno/ seaweed mixture..unless anyone thinks that's a bad idea ill do them separately...thanks alcohol

I like the idea of kinda weining my plants off the foil feed as opposed to stopping first day of flower. I will try this for sure. It seems like it would be benecial and less stressful on the plants.

Anyway that i can try to mimmick mother nature and give her a push seems like a good thing !

Foliar feeding in flower can be a good thing as there are sprays that induce a SAR response and make trics grow more. If keen on organic go with Insect Frass ($12 at Amazon) if organic is not a big deal go with Jaz Rose Spray ,,,

Heavy 16's Foliar is IMO hands down the best foliar product on the market. The science is all there and so is the evidence from experimentation. Research it. Nothing else comes close to it.

I like to alternate 3 different products each week between H16's Foliar, Roots Organics' Ancient Amber, and Roots Organics' Extreme Serene.

You sound like you work at HTG supply.

Rockin,
You will get tons of trace minerals from liquified seaweed (same with guano). I prefer maxicrop brand. Its one of the only bottles of liquid I buy. Seaweed also contains natural growth hormones known as PGRs. Spraying at least once a week with this up until week 4 of flower will absolutely help turn out great product. By week 4, there is decent calyx development, so you want to stop unless youre humidity is really low. If RH is low, you can easily spray up to week 6 in flower but only at the beginning of lights on, just like at sunrise, plants will have condensate on them.

You dont need any bottles of liquid fertilizer besides seaweed. Worm castings and guano and seaweed is the secret.

Edit: so besides foliar feeding the guano tea. The biggest reason I make the tea is to supply the roots with microbes. I water with this tea at least once a week. I dont feed my plants nutrients at all. I dont buy any bottles of liquid.

Funny you criticize yet you have nothing bad to say about the product.

I think everyone has there own opinion about foilar feeding thats why I started this up. @silusbotwin I think Alcohol was just bustin your balls because He uses organic teas and most likely organic/hybrid nutes. also a lot of these nutrient companies out there now try to push shit on you. They have to or they wouldnt make money with all the nutrients on the market now ( alot of them good and alot just unnecessary)
With that being said I checked out the Heavy 16 and Ive heard nothing but good things about it. if you look at the content of
your liquid nutes, most of them will all have some type of Seaweed Extract in them anyways.
