Best Device or Technique for quickly and easily measuring liquids?

Hello,

I have gone perpetual in the tent and need to mix 1/2 gallon batches.
I need ideas for how to quickly and easily take up small, specific
amounts of liquid nutrients.

i.e. I might need to add 10 ml of ProBlend and then 4 ml of Overdrive....

I am thinking of the measured pipettes...way too expensive.

...but something that could fit down into a nute bottle would be brilliant.

The best idea I have is to put the nutes into a dish and then use a syringe.

Has anyone else found any other solutions?

Ah....there it is...air line to pull the material out.

I grow mushrooms, and have, and was, suggesting syringes,
but you never know...someone here might have an angle on
the electronic, pre-measuring pipette that really be amazing.

Great stuff team. Thanks!

Get a 50-60mL syringe and put some aquarium hose over the nozzle if you want draw from bottles or holes in reservoir lid.

5 mL pipettes work great. amazon. you can xfer nutes to plastic water bottles once the syringe doesn't reach.

Thanks for the time BG.

I think that the best approach so far will probably be where
I used a large syringe (I forget...60 cc IIRC) for each nute
and then squirt the proper number of cc's from each into
the mix for each plant.

I can use the tubing idea to speed up the filling of the syringes.

I will give this a whirl.

Take care,

Before I went organic I used a 60cc syringe has 1ml grads.

also for detailing they gave this thing you screw onto your bottle and all you do is squeeze to pushthe fluid into the screwed oncup and it has 2ml grads. This one I really really loved but the syringe is cheaper

I like using a small bottles filled from the larger ones.

Larger siphon will work but a larger air bubble will be in your syringe column and should be included in the measurement as that volume of siphon is filled.
