OK....heres the question.... I am setting up another room and I am looking for 4k total. Rather than go the route of buying 4 - 1000w lights I was thinking about going with 10 400 w ceramic metal halides, from everything Ive read thier color spectrum our performs both hps and regular mh. They only run on magnetic ballasts right? I see bulbs for MH ballasts retro fit bulbs for hps.... What is the best combo for lamp life, par rating etc? Any help would be appreciated. I was thinking of buying ballast kits and just wiring them all up rather then buy prefab remote ballasts and turning that savings into better reflectors and fans.
