Had a Stone Thunderstruck.
It was a bit too bitter, but okay.

I have been drinking local stuff at a new spot nearby. They have a lot of Colorado beers that you can only get on tap.
About 90% of Colorado beers do not distribute beers except in kegs.

This fucking state. Half of Colorado's population are some sort of hipster/hippie douches making mediocre beer.

When in BC, it will be highly likely for one to be smoking a Kush strain of some type. It's gotten so bad some people are putting out fox-tailling F1 aberrations and calling them good, trying to disguise the taste of seed with a review calling its flavour "woodsy"...
FUCK me.,..that's some false advertising there.

But I digress...
In response to the title, CUTTHROAT by Tree Brewing Co. is an excellent accompaniment.

There has been a Stone Bitter Chocolate Oatmeal Stout lurking in the fridge for a while. I wish I had some molé but that ain't going to happen. Going to settle for lasagna and stout.

I do not know. This is from Jan '16. Sadly my ability to cellar went out the window with the birth of the boy. Having a bomber is kind of a luxury for the time being. But it is very good. Subtle. Really would pair nicely with a good molé. This is my first.

But this is the week that Founder's KBS drops and I am on it like a mutha-fucka. I know when the beer distributors deliver to the nearest nine places and I have it on order at each one.

LoL I am quite aware. My question was directed at how that particular beer faired with aging.

Bit of a beer nerd.

Currently sipping on a 2015 cuvee grand reserve from Nickel Brook.

Depends on the beer, some are better fresh. The weed seems to always benefit.

I am reminded of Lucky and his thoughts about a "chip off the line"
