Yea but who cares if it's "hydro" if it sucks balls. You're paying what like $150 for the base model to grow some shitty leggy weed plants that are gonna have so many problems when you could build a better system for way less or even just grow in soil for like under $20 and get better results. Don't bother lol.

no it's not "seedless". You can use seeds or clones. Tell me why you want some "hydro" so bad? So you can brag to the homies you got some "hydro"?

Aerogardens suck because:

1. First and foremost they're an expensive POS

2. Their lights suck

3. Their resevoir is wayyy too small and you need to constantly refill it

4. Their pots are too small to fascilitate reasonable root structures

5. They have this notorious thing where leaves start to die on the plants for some reason.

6. You could build a system that's 3 TIMES better for 1/3 of the COST in 30 minutes.

7. What plants that do survive are small and leggy and produce rediculously small yields.

I got the AG 200 Pro. Has an extra light where some has fewer and the lights will move up higher than some. You can raise em two feet I think. Sure been some folks showing off some nice looking killer weed which come from them things..but do think you will need extra lights or different lights for flowering. I aint into flowering yet but I just been adding some of the high wattage curly tail CFL clamp lights. Some say the cfls will work others nag about it. Think if I had it to do over again I would invest in some good lights and hempy buckets.

This is a good compact setup that someone made and wrote a guide with pictures on how to make it. The parts are around $40 and he said it took about 30 minutes to build. To someone with no experiance of how hydro/aeroponics work this can seem a little overwhelming, but I assure you that once you get it it'll all come easy to you. Plus there are also so many people here to help you. Anyways, here's the link: https://www.rollitup.org/hydroponics-aeroponics/22362-30-minute-6-plant-aero.html

You could also go with hempy buckets (super easy passive hydroponic system)

Or bubble buckets. A bubble bucket/DWC (Deep Water Culture) can be made into a setup like that link I posted where you have 6 (the amount is totally up to you) net pots cut into the top of a plastic container and just fill it with a good nutrient solution, and throw in a couple air stones attached to a pump and voila! Nice little hydro system.

Well it all kinda depends on you build it. See one of the best things about home built aero/hydro systems (besides being super cheap) is that they're 100% customizable and you can do whatever you please to meet your needs.

Having just moved two hab plants from the AG to the Hempy Buckets.think I could safely say the bucket aint gonna take up much more room. Just takes up space in different dimensions if you get my drift. Hempy buckets are real hydro so you can brag to your pals. They got water in the bottom which the roots eventually stumble over..or that was how it was splained to me by the exspurts.

Wow someone got 32 GRAMS off an aerogarden, holy shit dude that's like sooo much chronic.. that's like.. a little over 4 OUNCES A YEAR HOLY SHIT DUDDDE. Shut up aerogarden noob:roll: I can grow more than that in less than 3 months off one plant. If I went scrog I'd get even more in the same area as an aerogarden takes up. I'll say this once and for all, aerogardens are for noobs that can't get their dick wet in hydroponics by actually getting (or better yet, building) a worthwhile system. So they pay more money than they should for a mediocre setup that's not even close to the design needed to produce quality weed.

talk about someone looking to get banned.
there are obviously many different ways to grow this stuff. i firmly believe that every individual can ALWAYS find a PERFECT way for just about anything in life that is specific to them.

some people learn and have good luck with the AG. good for them. some try and find a better way. good for them.

try to keep it more constructive. things grow better that way. for someone who is a weekend smoker, maybe 4oz of hydro is enough for a year.

relax, smoke some and laugh at the "noob AG growers" in the background.
i am sure if we want full scale or SOG or 4 ounces a day, we will ask.

p.s. thanks for your opinion.

gengis is right about one thing.

the earlier models are not equipped with enough lights and needs modification.

the upgraded models seem to have worked out some of the kinks, although it never hurts to add more.

BUT, i have read a post here about some fine plants grown with just the upgraded model AG with no additives or mods.

in my opinion, get the best model if you have money to burn or dont want to put in the effort of building your own, BUT if you have the motivation and don't mind a little research and effort, THEN the money you spend on AG XXX could be used to build a sweet as set up.

i personally got the lowest model and have been adding attachments. now i got the hang of things and i am ready to set up SOG on small scale.
thinking of using the left over AG cups i have to start 4-6 clones.
been working the idea over how to set up for my area.

your choice, are ya lazy or motivated?:spew:
