Bernie Sanders hospitalized for heart surgery.

A stent is easy . It’s really no big deal anymore. It’s practically outpatient surgery. They can just go through your arm artery , roto router the clog , put in the stents and it’s so routine anymore. The old crank will most likely be back on the debate stage in a couple weeks screaming his head off again.
Oh, I know, stents are no big thing, but most of the time they do them through an artery or aomething. I was unaware that this was open heart surgery until @BustinScales510 informed me. Poor Bernie. They had to crack open his ribcage and shit.

I don't know the specifics, I just read heart surgery in the headlines. Perhaps I misspoke. I was just making a point of contrasting all the hand wringing and faux concern over Hillary's relatively minor health issues.

Well it looks like she is winning over the black voters. Fuck Wall Street Wall Street won’t be able to stop her . So if Bernie is out and Biden is out who do you think Wall Street would want?
They want Biden. He's not out so long as Wall Street wants him. The right wing propaganda organ hasn't even begun to play its tunes about Warren. Facts won't matter, its all about perception.

I'd prefer Warren. But she is too closely aligned with Bernie's stupid healthcare bill. Once Wall Street propaganda starts playing the "raises taxes on YOU" tune, her standing will drop. From her earlier rhetoric, Warren left the door open to a more balanced approach towards universal access to healthcare but the Wall Street propaganda will ignore that and portray Warren as "Bernie 2.0". Any attempt by Warren to remind people of her earlier remarks about "there are alternatives to forcing people off private coverage they like" will be treated as flip-flopping just like the did to Clinton.

I prefer Warren but I'm used to seeing my preferred candidate go down to bad press coverage. Remember the Dean scream? Dean was shot down by lazy media that made easy money taking shots at a chronically tired and overworked Dean sounding foolish. Biden better than Trump, though.

There's a rather big difference between a 68 year old stumbling because she's light headed having just got over the flu she had for 5 days and a 78 year old man having heart problems to the point he's hospitalized and undergoes surgery.

Dolt.

It was not heart surgery. Not even close.

2 stents? rofl that's nothing. Even for Bernie @ 78. He will feel better than he has in years and in a few weeks will be back in action and have less blood pressure problems.

They go in thru the groin. Procedure takes anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes. More if they explore every artery. Once they place the stents the HARDEST part is pulling the plug out of the artery in your groin and stopping the bleeding. They do this by pressing down with both hands on your groin. THIS hurts cause if you take blood thinners your femoral artery will act like a faucet and they will have to keep pressure on your groin for up to 30 minutes.

With the blocks opened he will be able to do a lot more physically in a few weeks time. I know from experience. Bypass and a lot of stents before and after.

They go through the arm artery now. Femoral artery is old school.

Not true for every encounter. You have experience? Then please don't tell me what I go thru every few years.

They need a specific sized stent to open up the artery in your heart. If the arteries in your arms are too small they can't use that path. IE...if they are stenting a large bypass artery the stent wont fit thru an arm artery because it is too wide. They then have to go thru the femoral and up the aorta. I always ask if my arm can be used and they always tell me they can't cause they are not wide enough for the stent itself to fit thru.

Why even bother trying to make a point here? Nothing is old school if they still use it.

It doesn't matter how Bernie feels in a few weeks.

Voters see the oldest man in the race having heart problems before he even takes office. He's done. He has no chance anymore.

Bernie Sanders had 2 stents put in last night and has cancelled all his upcoming events. Seems he is doing well.

Wish the guy a healthy recovery.

Crazy.
Bernie is the only candidate IMO that has it right on. Those of us old enough to have watched the decline in buying power of the middle class know this. Speedy recovery Bernie!

How so? How many televisions do you have now vs 1980's?, 1970's, when do you want to have the timeline. How many personal computers, cell phones, cars, clothes, how many more people have gained an education now vs then, on and on. Add in the millions of people that have moved into the middle class since that time too and the middle class has actually grown too.

There are peaks and valleys, but things improve overall generally. Bernie is ok, but as a senator, as a President he wouldn't get anything done and would just be a lightning rod for people that are easily scared by the word 'socialism'. Which is why the Russians push for him.

To date, after 30 years in Washington, Bernie Sanders has this list of outstanding accomplishments:
  • Renamed two Vermont post offices.
And that's all, folks. That's it. That's the sum total of his legislative prowess in 30 fucking years in D.C.

Because we have more throwaway Chinese-made crap doesn't indicate income. Is it an indicator that wr can't pay for health care? How about the increase in real estate values and necessary items like cars versus income? The first full time job I had was in 1973, union job that paid about $4.50. Today that's about $20 (check an online calculator). Not only could I not buy an electronic Chinese tv for $100, I had no desire to. Furthermore insurance actually covered my medical bills. How much overtime are people working to buy that junk? Things improve overall? Based on what? Not my observation. No interest in getting into an involved debate here, but there are lots of facts to back me up. "Bernie is ok, but as a senator, as a President he wouldn't get anything done..." Based on what? As far as being a lightning rod for dipshitz all of us are.
