I was talking to the guys at the cedars, from what I hear there will be a closed to the public meeting at the park place in traverse city. They will teaching cops and leo how to bust caregivers and patients and take down compassion clubs. Not sure about the date yet but there will be a protest. Signs are being made as we speak.

Flip side is, the information given can reduce improper searches and arrests.

You know, as far back as I can remember the only time I had a problem with cops was when I was breaking the law.
Years back I moved out west and ended up in a state with medical laws, and that was the last time I participated in that us against them, cops are evil and out to get me mentality. I got lucky and Mich passed theirs before I moved back so I haven't had a single relapse...

It feels good not having to worry about what I've got, what I'm doing or where I'm going as long as I'm following the law.

From what they were telling me at the cedars is the cops are going after suppliers and patients. They also said you cant sell the stuff even to patients. So from what I get out of it is you have to charge a consultation fee for the visit and give them the herbs.Kind of like r1tonys buy a pencil for fifty bucks and get a bag for free idea.

I agree that the best way to avoid trouble is just stay legal. They are after the people pushing limits.

A registered primary caregiver may receive compensation for costs
associated with assisting a registered qualifying patient in the medical use
of marihuana.

That isn't what people say, and yes how you say it makes all the difference in the world.

I am much in love with this hash oil thing as the punch is powerful and very long lasting. most definitely a good way to eliminate any potential overage....saw a guy using denatured alcohol washes claiming it was what the dispensaries in california were using (who knows?) and am curious about that method of oil making as BHO is great but butane ain't cheap dammit....

i would really like to know more about this protest...i have lived in traverse city my whole life and i cant stand to see these cops doing what they do knocking down the doors of people that are helping others, so what if they get compensated people arent out running around to some sketch ass drug dealers looking for some over priced shwagg, they can be in a safe clean enviroment and get the meds they need....what was the point of making this legal for us, and now we are just going to have to go back to how it was 4 years ago...PM me tho ismokealotofpot i would like to chit chat with someone that shares the Green Passion :P

Yes it is, we should start a militia to protect caregivers, patients and dispensaries, cops cant raid a place that has 100 men at the location their isnt a local law enforcment department big enough.
