beginning in waterfarm

I just transplanted a seedling that is rooted in rockwool into a waterfarm system. However, being that the seedling has only 4 true leaves, I do not know if the fertilizer is making it to the plant. How do i direct the water towards the root system.:)

Hi there.

Yea when they are small the ring is too big and doesnt reach the young roots.
What I do is either hand water around the rockwool cube (close to it but not on it) or run a waterpump directly from the controller and setup a temp drip system (I have the eight pack) set timer for 30 min twice a day and drip on one corner of the rockwool cube for a coupke weeks.

I just got one. Seems pretty cool. This will be my 1st grow so Im just going with the flow and tips on here
I'm actually ordering one tonight, would love to expand to the 16. I would rather go down a path of vegg'n in a separate system and strictly use the water farm for the flower room. Little worried about any transplant stress and putting the girls right into flower after the swap.

I have my first girl actually posing successful in the waterfarm! She is the most beautiful thing ive ever seen.
---Bury the rockwool deep into the hydroton otherwise the nutes and water will not reach.
----I put a big airstone in the res and am seeing colossal results. happy growing

I have a question...

Why don't you pour the water directly onto the rockwool cube??
