My "vast" experience with 2 pots is to let the plant dry out well. The roots need to be grown throug the media well or it's going to fall apart when you do it. But you just sort of inch it down a little as you go working your way around the pot.

yo mr bill a question how hard are the cloth pots at transplant time
someone told me you can just roll them down seems you would have to knife around them

i use plastic pots until the final pot size then go fabric. easier to slide it out rather than peel them off like skinny jeans. lmao.

Hey BC, question for you.... I'm going to go the coconut oil route for a batch of edible oil. I have A, B & C grade hash, I plan on trying the C grade for cooking. The jars of the organic coconut oil are 14 oz, how much hash do you use for the oil? Or do you just use trim? Thanks in advance bro.

I can answer that for you Swag...if that's ok. I use 10 grams hash (decarbed) with 10 teaspoons coconut oil for hash caps. They are hella strong. I mix in a 1/4 cup extra coconut oil to make milder oil. I use a 1/4 tsp as measure for a dose. What were you planning on making? Oh and make sure you use soy lecithin when you make your oil.

Sweet thanks fumble! So for 14 oz I think I'll use 8 grams of grade C for the first jar and see how it turns out. No plans on what to use it for right now, probably just some brownies and I would rather use oil than butter for making brownies. My hash is dry ice hash and I've never had a problem with just simmering in butter for about 20 minutes, made some killer butter with a run of grade C last year (too low of quality for smoking), I think I used 12 grams for a pound of butter. Shit was dangerous lol. Is the soy lecithin essential given I'm using dry ice hash? Are there problems with chunkiness with the hash? Never had to use any additives in my butter. Thanks for the reply fumble.

No prob Swag. Are you wanting to use the whole 14 oz jar of coconut oil with the 8 grams of hash? You could do that but it will be super weak. The first recipe with the 10 grams per 10 tsp oil makes caps that will knock you on your ass - They are my sleeping pills ;) The weaker ones, with the extra 1/4 cup of oil are good for daytime use or measured dosages to cook with. With a 14 oz jar of coconut oil, I can make at least 4 or more batches of the weaker oil. Believe me, a little will go a long way.

The soy lecithin isn't an absolutely necessary ingredient. What it does, is makes everything more bio-available to your body. Like it makes sugar taste sweeter. It makes it to where you don't need as much to do the trick. If you make one batch with and one without, you will def be able to tell the difference. Not only in potency, but look as well. The one with the lecithin will be more consistent and smoother. What I have isn't really 'hash,' just what I can sift from all the trim, so there are still tiny particles of leaf material. It doesn't break all the way down like true hash would. With the dry ice hash, if it is more green than gold, you will probably have some silt to it, but not to worry, it is potent. I have even ground up big leaves with trichs into a powder in my coffee grinder and used that to make hash oil...wont do it again lol. It was bright green like effing Wizard of Oz and smelled like ass. Potent as hell though. Had to throw it away because I couldn't stand the smell.

Anyway, hope that helps. If you need any recipes, let me know. Sweet or savory.

Oh and ps...my man loves your ass avatar ;)

Hmmmmmm, not sure what way to go here. I think I will run it on the weaker side for my first run since I tend to share my edibles with a lot of amateurs, and I myself am an edible amateur. I think I used 14 grams of C grade hash for 1 lb of butter last time. Had a hefty taste of the holiday toffee I made and I was still toasted for the entire next day! Twas a funeral too, it sucked baaaaad.

I have some events coming up that I want to take edibles to. I like to take edibles to events and I feel terrible when people pass out and miss the entire purpose of being there lol. I usually just do brownies as I'm not much of a baker and they seem to be a tasty vessel. What's your favorite recipe for edibles? You seem very experienced! Also where do I get the lecithin?

Much appreciated.

Ok, if you follow the 10 tsp per 10 grams and add 1/4 cup extra coconut oil, it makes it a perfect 1 dose, measured by the 1/4 tsp. I am using this for a food line that is going to be coming out. We tested meals with 1 thru 4 doses and the 1 dosed meals were perfect. So if you want to make edibles that they will feel, but still be able to walk around and enjoy everything, the 1 dose recipe is perfect.

I don't really know the grades of hash, but I know with dry ice hash the longer you shake the more green you get. It is still good, it just might be a bit silty, but still potent as shit, and if you are going to be using it in edibles, the silt wont really matter. My hash caps are silty as hell, but they are potent as effff.

Everything is my favorite recipe lol ;) Let's see...I love cheesecake, there are so many different ones. My Orange Dream Bars are a favorite of my patients. Like a Lemon Bar but tastes like a creamsicle. I just entered it in a contest (non medicated lol) If you would like I could send you a few recipes.

You can find lecithin at any good grocery store with a health food section. I found mine at Raley's. I haven't been able to find the powder form, which is best for hash oil, but the granules work fine. I can pm you the exact way to make it if you want. I do kind of a long process, which I believe makes it more potent, but like most things, that is probably just in my head ;)
