BCBD Animal Cookies

Alright, this is my second grow, just finishing up my first grow... which was basically made up of querkle. Just got my beans from attitude's 420 promo, and into the plate they go!

This grow will be with Hawaii's bright sunshine, right now we have peaking UVB, and 1000hps for supplemental/flowering.

I think I am going to go with advanced nutrients / earth juice for this grow as well, unless someone has a line/product they swear/live by... I am always up for suggestions, but i cannot complain with my last results~ :P I have heard a lot of trash talking about BCBD, but i like to discover for myself, so i guess this is going to make or break them in my own mind. 12 beans... 2 of them look really crappy, lol, but i try not to judge a seed till it sprouts/doesn't sprout :P they did throw in 2 extra beans, i think to offset the crappy ones, but i dont understand why you wouldnt just ~not~ put the uglies in there... guess you gotta get rid of them somehow haha :P

Ok enough rambling, here's the introduction pic ~

After 24 hours we have sprouts! Almost all of them have sprouted, 9 of the 12~ the retarded crushed looking one even sprouted (it's the tiny one in the middle :P)... gonna keep an eye on it though :P They will start the shift into some organic soil tonight, and hopefully tomorrow the three little slow ones can join them~

Been interested in this for awhile. It was between these and snow highs tgk and purple Pantera. Snow high won because of the bcbd naysayers. Hopefully your results turn my head. Subd up like Jerry sucka!

great :D let me know how your tgk turns out hazer~

So today, 24 hours after putting them into solo (holes in the bottom of coarse) cups, with pretty bland organic soil (last time i used FFOF and burned most all of my seedlings... only 2 of 5 deep purple lived, and 1 blueberry headband.. and lost another pandora's box, after all of the seeds sprouted so proudly :/ ) and let them sit in the direct sunlight for a couple hours, then put them back under these little bathroom halogens i always use... blue spec with about 15k lumens, works nicely... anyways, we have sproutlings already!

Here is a pic, you can only really see #6, but if you look closely in person you can see #'s 3 and 4 also peeking up.. hopefully tomorrow morning there will be more action~

The three seeds that had not sprouted yet, started to show signs of life today, but still not quiet ready for the solocup life... two are starting to crack open, last one is standing still... :3 We shall see tomorrow how the progress goes!

Alright, so day 4.. so there was no action from the little ones on the plate... two started to go but havnt moved since cracking, so they are now being tossed. Left with 9 cups, and all have sprouted except for #9. #8 is also looking a little shriveled, but we will see... only time shall tell :P

I like the look of the Animal Cookies better than just the Girl Scout Cookies. I will keep an eye on this thread to see how it plays out for you. Good luck!

This is a pic from last night, little one's growing strong :) they are now under HPS set at 600w instead of the bathroom hallogens at night, still getting hawaiian sun during the day. One runt in the top corner, but she seems to be growing a little still so i wont toss her yet :P

In this one for a while lol Fell in love with the girlscout cookies from a local grower. What exactly are the genetics on the animal cookies?

...hmmm, so far this is not looking too good... ill post a picture of the remaining four animals after work today. They are really not doing so great, most are shriveling and growth is very, very slow. I have never experienced this before with any plants before, and it is rather depressing. Thinking of scrapping this project and cloning out my blueberry headband, if they do not come out of the rut they are in this next weekend... I am thinking maybe I should have listened to the naysayers of BCBD... :/

Too hot too soon? I had this issue recently with 2 boss hoggs that I put under HPS very early - shriveled and died.

Either way, was lookin forward to seein this strain in action, seems to get a decent amount of hype around my area lately. Best of luck man.

Wow bro super sad to hear! Don't mean to rub it in but the tgk and purple pantera are on the fast track to putting the P U in Phunck, if ya feel me! I was really looking forward to someone proving my thoughts wrong and I even had my finger on the left clicker hesitantly debating on the fire og bx3 and the chem fire and then I thought of you and decided to check your journal first. You think it's genetics or grower error with over kill from the ffof or 600w hps? Heard ffof is being produced in some other factory waaaay away from the original locale and that the new mass production costed them dearly in qaulity control. Also I never got a good vibe from bcbd adds and the glasses on too cool for school leather jacket shot. Maybe a nice ole slice of humble pie would help. Haha. Hope to hear back.

So I have two that made it! Yea, I am not completely sure it isn't grower error, as i stated before this is only my second solo grow ( i have been in a couple colabs) which i am not entirely convinced of... or it could inconsistency in the lighting because of the wild weather, but i was keeping on top of it to the best of my knowledge. Two are finally putting on some fast growth, the #4 and the #5. The FFOF could have been too hot for my other seeds which is why i went with an organic potting mix for the animal cookies, but seems like i had a similar problem anyways... I am going to take a picture of the two ladies, but seems like they are showing too many female indicators... almost looks like they are auto-flowering, I don't know, i am really scratching my head on this one. I have several other plants going right now that look great, so I am going to do some trouble shooting this weekend and see if i can't find the solution... Anyways, pics comming soon~

I am gonna chime in a little just from my knowledge and screw ups you should really never put seedlings in direct sunlight it's a little to much for them. Now I have used a 600w light on seedlings but kept it pretty far away and always made sure everyday that they were not trying to strech for the light. I also must offer that bringing your plants from outside to inside is a really bad idea also because you can invite a lot of critters into your garden so next time I would get some kind of floro. Lights shit even cheap ones will work rather than risking putting them into direct sunlight I have taking cuttings and once rooted put them in direct sunlight and came back to dead clones so my advice to you Is if you are gonna do the inside and outside thing let them get a few sets of true leaves first then slowly introduce them to the sun. I just ordered the animal cookies because of all the B.S talk about bcbd but I also must offer that supposedly they actually do have the forum cut of the gsc. So as far as they go they aren't Actually B.S. now the animals if anything are the B.S ones but hey fire og crossed to the gsc I am all in on that because you are sure to find some keepers for sure I mean fire og alone is a great strain so in my eyes to pay 84 bucks for the animal cookies through ali bongo to get a amazing pheno is worth every penny in my eyes and look you aren't paying over a hundred and change for the fire og from rascals line that I have heard has all sorts of herm issues. Well when I get my cookies I'll do a few of them along with my peyote purple from cbg and I have some strains that I'll be testing for karma which will be c99bx x biker kush and I'll be doing a test with med-mans road kill skunk line can't wait gonna be some funky shit going in my garden!!!

How do seedlings that grow naturally outside ever survive if the sun is too much for them?

there is a big difference between wild landraces and breeders that breed them for indoors and outdoors plus when you are giving a little seedling cfl lighting versus the sun there is a big difference there now i am not saying that all seeds will die if you put them directly into the sun some will actually live but if you start plants inside and then put them outside the sun will be alot stronger and that is why you should slowly ease them into direct full on sunlight and i have tried to put seedlins and young clones out that havent had for seeds a couple sets of true leaves on them and for clones having roots but not a full big root mass in a solo cup and most would just wilt and die because the sun was just to intense compared to the little 250w metal halide that they were vegged under. Now i must offer that alot of the strains we have today are bred to be grown under artificial lighting now will they do well out in the sun sure when they are big enough now seedlings that grow naturally are landraces untouched by man and grow wild and only grow in certain climates and areas..Now i have had a wild plant grow from seeds that i have thrown out around my house from smoke that had a seed in it and once in a while i would have one sprout out of no where and it was like the shittiest plant in the world and smallest also most of the time the seeds that sprouted that were thrown out were in a mostly shaded area. Now i am not completely saying that you cannot put plants out in the sun but just make sure they have a good enough root system before you go directly into the sun and if they are little seedlings then put them in a greenhouse or in a pretty shady location where its not getting beat up by the sun all day long unless it has a good root system. Especially if you are growing in hawaii there sun and humidity is brutal. Plus imo that usually little seedlings that i have put out into sunlight when they were young always streched and looked lanky when they did live that is the reason why i always wait until they have atleast 3 nodes before i put anything outside because then they can handle the elements of outside wind rain direct sun etc. and then they thrive and take off like rockets..

I had a similar problem with the animal cookies where they germinated but died afterward. I don't know if I gave them too much water, but not over watering is something to consider if anyone made the mistake of buying anything from BullshitCrookedBudDepot and esp animal cookies.

The guys who robbed sick meds at gun point should have gone after them instead

Fuck BC Bud Depot.
