BC Seedking Purps and BC Mango

Yeah. BCseedking. I sent them an international money order by regular mail from the midwest. Probably about 2 1/2 weeks after I sent the money, I got the seeds.

The purps doesn't branch as much as the mangos I have now, but I've also gotten 2 different phenotypes from their mango seeds. One was a "single" cola type plant, and the branching kind that I have now. Of course, they gave me like 10 free seeds and 6/8 of the seeds I've germinated have been female.

That is a real nice grow you got there! Are you guys that ordered from there stateside? I would like to give his purps a try as they look alot better than TH Seeds version. How long did the whole order process take?
Im in the east coast and it took only 4 days from them recieving my money thru c.c.using a c.c. payment goes right thru and you will get a email the same day or the next saying its been shipped....

It's the beginning of the 8th week for the Purps, but I feel I could let the plant go into the 9th week if I wanted. It has really started filling out and I imagine this is the 2 weeks everyone talks about when it really starts packing on the pounds. The trichomes are about 25% amber. I could really chop it anytime, but I'm trying to be as patient as possible and I'm seeing buds start to form on top of buds. Good signs.

purps looking real good i want to know how much you harvest??

Yeah, its looking pretty crystally. I have to remind you that I prematurely harvested 6 buds from this Purps at different points because I'm dry and my sources are unreliable around this city(Hell, that's why I'm growing my own in the first place!) So it might be like 4-6 grams lighter than it could have been.
Here is a picture of some of the extra clones I have. I began flowering them a couple of days ago. I looked at them and they were all branching too much to efficiently use CFLs, so I decided to lop off all the side branches and try to grow single colas from them. I hope they don't die and I can't imagine why they would. I'm experimenting now with plants so that when I retire in 30 years and make growing/breeding my main hobby, I will already have experimented with everything to see what works best:mrgreen:.

By the way, the mango smells skunky with a splash of citrus while the purps smells sweet n' fruity.

Update on the 6 plants in advanced flowering stages. The main cola of the Purps is starting to get real hard and full. Trichomes are 50% at the edges, but still all cloudy closer to the stem and on top.

Pic 1: Purps
Pic 2,3: Mangos
Pic 4: main cola of most mature mango
Pic 5: Mango, Purps, Purps

I'm starting to see one or two of the trichomes on the top of the main cola turning amber. Shouldn't be more than 4 days away I hope!

Everything looks great! I will be placing my order tomorrow and I will be sure to post how things go. How is the smoke on the purps?

Hey, so-so very glad to see this post. I have 16 purps that are nearing
3 months old that I received from BCseedking. I have cloned every one of
them and I am waiting for them to veg about 3 more weeks before I flip
to 12/12.

I am very curious as to if the BCseedking version of Purps is the real deal.
So super happy to see that you have a purple pheno and they look very
much like most of the purps pics I've seen to date.

Do you have any harvest pictures bro? How long did it take them to reach
maturity during flowering? What is your veg time to harvest weight for
each of your purps plants? I'm looking for a pheno that will harvest 2 Oz
dried with 4 weeks of veg... what do you think?

Sorry about all the questions... I hope you don't mind.

Thanks again for posting this thread... very helpful to my current efforts.

Whoa, have I been gone a while. Zen to answer your questions: I don't have any pictures of harvest. I do have the 3 plants that were in the common pot dried, and cured, and half of one smoked. Off of the two purps in the common pot, I got about 0.400 oz from each 10" plant(including stem). I flowered about 4 weeks from the day I cloned them. They vegged probably 6" or 2 weeks. I have a picture of the purps dried and cured in pic #1 and #2. In pic #3 and #4 there is a purps that is 61 days into flowering right now and it looks like it has 2 more week to go. Purps seems to take about 10 weeks to fully come around. By the end of the 10 weeks they are 100% purple. The purps plant seems to tail off growth after about 8 weeks and just turns purple after that. Maybe the growth tails off because the chlorophyll decreases which leads to the plant turning purple(like autumn trees). I don't know but it would make sense. You probably know by now that purps doesn't branch much. Compare that to the last pic of a mango that was in the communal pot with the 2 purps. This mango yielded 0.564 oz(stem included) in the same amount of time under the same lighting conditions. After curing the purps smells real nice, like fruit or berries.

It took awhile but I really appreciate the
pics and feedback none-the-less.

I have about 40 purps that have been
vegged 6-8 weeks, they are 23 days
into flower. They are still mostly pistoles..
look like furry buds... I just got this fear
that for whatever reason they will not
fill out but I think this is pretty normal for
a first grow. They are under 4000 watts
of HPS lighting and the CO2 was just
raised up to 1500 ppm last night. I can't
wait for them to fill out and pack on a
little weight... I'll feel so much better.

Smell is very faint right now... to me they
smell a bit like a pack of kool aid before
you add it to water. My girl says they
smell like berries to her.

Anyways... I say that bcseedking has a
very very close relative to purps if not
the exact same thing. They are very
stable... I had to pull 5 large sour diesel
out of my garden because they all were
herming on me... they are from 3
different seed sellers.... they seem very
unstable unfortunately. All the purps are
just fine though...

Anyways thanks for this thread... super
helpful to me... I was so eager to get
some purps and I had no other option
but to go with bcseedking. It was a
gamble that looks like it will pay off.

He probably has managed to scrounge up enough dough for a HID in the last two/three years since this thread was active.
