I figured since I took a couple pictures of the nugs I would post a smoke review however I won't be using the template for this round as I am way too lazy and I can't stand my eyes bleeding (still thinking, now that finals are over I have more time to come up with ideas.)
Alright I don't want to go into my background with every smoke report but it is essential in the controversy that surrounds the GSC. It should give me a little credibility in my review and though I understand I am not personally pie guy or one of the cookies fam my in laws are really connected and have passed me a cut that I consider to be the closest to the real thing you can get. When the cookies first came out we received 3 lbs of the supposed "REAL DEAL". This was before we (me as well as the customers) see a bunch of clone breeders getting their hands in the flavor of the week. I have burned animal, thin mints, regular gsc, 4 different cuts (dark heart, epic, midnight farms, and one other random). And now I can say I have personally have had complete control over 3 variations.
Surprisingly, this plant was grown under a TaoTronics 240w led panel in 1/2 gal plastic bag pot. There was a total of 5 plants under this light and they were all aprox 2 feet tall at most. This is what I would consider a micro grow but because of my walls I have to have smaller tents on the sides.
Fox Farms Ocean Forest + Fox Farms Nutrient Line (9 products but didn't use the foliar)
Humboldt Snow Storum Ultra / Chrystal somethin (had it from a previous grow so im trying to use it up)

minimal veg time as I didn't have high expectations for the freebies that came from the christmas promotion.
Feeding chart was basically once a week with about half strength nutrients, I used way way way more water than nutrients (and obviously that is always the case but im trying to compare it to what I used to do which was feed them all the time as long as there was no burn they get fed but not now) To tell the complete truth I would water for 2 weeks straight with no nutes in there. I just bought a calendar to stay organized and write down specifics.
Now for the moment you have all been waiting for, as well as myself it is time to examine this baby.

The structure of the buds before trimming were pretty comparable to a blue dream or jack herer, although it had bigger fan leaves the growth was straight up with few side branching. The trichome production was crazy, the stem had trichomes running down it. The leaf to flower ratio was amazing! For being GSC I found that the yield was above par and the quality so far is top notch. Flushed for like 2-3 weeks, she had lush green leaves and no signs of deficiency so I see no reason to keep feeding her do you?
The smell test passes at least as a GSC (child per say) it is really really close, I think the only difference is that the family cut has just a little more musk to it a tiny tiny bit more.
Now for the tasting ladies and gents
Vaporizer - On the inhale it tastes like them yummy cookies, on the exhale it has a slightly different taste and I will have to do a comparison soon to truly understand how to describe it. The taste is lingering in my mouth and it is very delightful. I can actually get more than a few big hits from the vape before its flavor wore out. The oils on this plant are phenomenal.
I can feel my whole body starting to relax and the ring around my head forming.
15 minutes later I am back to typing this, I completely stoned out while picking some music on pandora.
Water Pipe aka Teh BONG - Holy shit son, the flavor was not as glamorous in the bong, the exhale tasted a little of burnt smoke like I held the lighter on a little too long but I had a big rip to take. The effects are where its at, my body feels like a warm blanket just got wrapped around. The smoke was really thick hit my lungs immediately but didn't give me the forceful exhale or choke that some strains give me. It was smooth ... there is a reason this strain is hyped up.
Okay so I guess the next thing to do is sum this all up, if you have questions please feel free to ask this last part will be a summary with no end note for people who might just wanna skip down to the know know. If you want me to continue to writing reviews of strains it would be nice of you to leave a comment or some feedback as incentive. And just to let me know there is a desire to see this. If no one wants to read this shit I don't mind not writing it

Summary
Visual Appeal: 7.5 - not quite as nice to look at as the "forum" cut or the fam cut I have but when it was growing it was pretty sexy
Scentual Appeal: 9.5 - I am not completely sure that I would be able to tell the difference if I were blindfolded. I don't think it is personally the worlds greatest smell, but when compared to what the gsc is supposed to smell like it is spot on.
Flavor: 8 - The flavor out of the vaporizer was amazing, but out of the bong was a little less noticeable and I don't think everyone has a vape just yet so it lowered my score
Stone: 9 - This is a nice feeling, a very nice feeling and I would honestly purchase seeds from this breeder just based on this grow and how nice it was. I am stoned to the bone
Ease of Growth: 10 - one of the easiest plants I have ever grown, didn't eat too much didn't eat too little. Super frosty and it meets the expectations from someone who is very very very hard to please when it comes to cannabis.
Would I grow it again?
Hell yeah I would grow it again, I would even purchase other packs of BC Bud Depot's products because the amazing product that came out of a free seed in a christmas promo. I am not screaming that this company is amazing I am just stating that on first impression I am in love.
