Thanks for checking in.

Here's a few of the LSD, they are starting to take off. My grow room now *smells* like a grow room :)

Started brewing a batch of compost tea last night, I'll apply it tomorrow. The HP plants I thought were probably going to die seem to be happier today.

Still no germination from the Space Bombs :(

More pics! I topped everything, and began mainlining all but a couple. Also, the one living Third Dimension is now in dirt.

The LSD tops were big enough that I'm going ahead and trying out the new cloning chamber (a Growlab GL120). While not ideal (most have between 1/2" and 3/4" sticking down below the collar). If any of them actually root, bonus. They'll let me replace some of the dearly-departed HP and 3D. I'll still be pulling clones off of the lower two branches when they're a bit bigger.

Hey hey! Everything looks awesome in there!!! I have a question.. I have never seen training like what you've done above. Can you tell me more about it? Is that waht you can mainlining? Do you just cut the main shoot off, pin the bottom branches and a whole bunch of new branches spring up? I'm fascinated!

Keep up the good work and definitely would love feedback on your opinion on the Blackstars, was thinking about getting one myself. Thanks for posting!

Girls look good man, I love the way mainlines grow. I havn't don't the actual mainline technique, but that idea behind it is how I have always shaped plants.

I've sprayed down all the leaves with compost tea, and poured the rest of the five gallons into the pots. They look happy. I also stuck my five TGA Kaboom seeds into a glass full of compost tea. They are huge, gorgeous striped seeds, I'm hopeful. As soon as they sink, I'll stick them in dirt. I'm still holding out hope for the Space Bomb...

All five Kaboom seeds sunk, so they've been put in dirt. Still no signs of life from the Space Bomb. :( On the up side, everyone seems to be good after the haircut and compost tea.

I've still gotten no germination from either Kaboom or Space Bomb. The only thing left I can think of is that they need more warmth. In situations like this, I think "What would Alton Brown do?"

Alton would use his bread proofer. Set the sucker on 80 degrees, water everything, and go for it. I propped the lid up slightly to let air circulate. I also took some more HP clones, and have now staked down everything for mainlining.

Lookin' very nice man.

As a newbie grower, mind if I ask; How far does one need to keep the LED-lights from the plants?

Thanks! For the low power ones like on my clones, they can be within inches. For the high powered ones, I like them 2-4 feet above. I've got them about 4 feet above the vegging plants right now -- I'm hoping to encourage a little bit of stretching while I'm mainlining....

Took clones from the HP and immediately put them in 12/12. I'm hoping for at a least a *few* females out of the five... :) Also spent some time doing more bondage on everything. Several have now been trained to 4 tops. I'll get new pics tomorrow, it's past my bedtime.

Still no germination on the TGA stuff. I got a bag of Happy Frog and stuck 5 G13 Pineapple Express fems into cups yesterday. Fortunately, most of the LSD is ready to be cloned again when I train to four stalks.

I'm surprised you are having such a rough time with it. Is this 2 packs of different seeds now? Might be worth getting ahold of TGA. Atleast the rest of the girls are moving along well. I can't wait to see that LSD flower.

Three different 5-packs, all purchased from Attitude at the same time last summer. If the Pineapple Express pops, I'm going to just write it off to bad seeds. If the Pinex doesn't, I'm going to have to rethink everything.

Here's a good shot of one of the LSDs starting to push out the 4 mainlined branches. Every time I cut one of these back severely, they come back faster each time. I guess the bigger root system is helping.

The clone chamber is now full as well. Some of the early LSD clones are starting to show roots, so I'll be able to get them into dirt this weekend or next week.
