Baywatcher's Basement Blowout

Holy shit, it's essentially done. I'll get pics this weekend, I still have to clean up some of the mess, but the flower girls have been moved into their new 2x bigger room and couldn't be happier. It's going to be a few weeks before I have the second room running, but that's only because I don't have any plants to put in there right now. The roots are popping out of the rockwool cubes in the new ebb & flow tray, I'm really happy about where things are going now. We have one door left to add, but it's into the room that is empty at the moment. Yesterday me and my buddy put in 10 hard hours, today we decided we were both too old to buy & move another door today...

Tomorrow is trim day for the Rocky Mountain High.

edit: and yes, everything hurts.

Pics, huzzah! The second flower room went operational last night.

So here are the pics of the room when we started -- long basement, bisected with a trimmed-out post, taken from the doorway at the bottom of the stairs.

These were shot standing in the same place. There's now a wall with a door down the middle.

This is the room that used to have the tent (first pic shows where the tent stood).

The old flower chamber is now the veg/cloning room.

It took me way longer to get it all working properly than it should of (RTFM, I know), but my flip-box and light controller are now happily working properly together, and I can turn off the twice a day phone alarm to remind me to flip manually :)

Got my new vermicomposter set up today, and have a biological microscope on the way as well so I can really dial in my teas. Also, cleaned out my clone reservoir . How long has it been for you???? :)

Hehe I just did my flower res last night. I need to do my veg one still. My cloner just got cleaned and filled about 3-4 days ago so its still fresh :).

Thanks for dropping in DT.

TC - Yeah, it is taking some getting used to in terms of amount of work, and amount of planning, needed to fill them up and keep them going properly on a perpetual. I expect a trimmer rebellion from my wife when it becomes 3x week, every week :)

I usually gotta beg my wife to trim if I want help. Thats one nice thing about my single cola plants is not usually tons of trimming to do.

I had a great christmas, hope yours went well buddy. I can't wait to see the jungle :). Once I get over being worried about the garden, its always fun to come back from a trip and see how much they have changed.
