Bay Dream or Bay 11 from GrandDaddy Purple

There was some real controversy going around at Bay 11. I was just about to buy a pack and started reading reviews and really didn't like the stuff I was reading. The biggest thing was, the Bay 11 that won the cup is not the same as what the breeder is selling. That switch crap leaves a really bad taste in my mouth. Apparently they were not too proud of their product if they had to pull some bullshit like that.

I don't know or care about rumors or what others think about them or their gear. All I know is that they have amazing strains and I've never been anything other than impressed.

^ Yeah I can generally agree with that and I am still wanting to grow some out but I wont be spending 100 bucks for a pack. I realized too late that it was offered as a freebie with Dec promo under regular seed UFO. I would have ordered if I had seen that in time to do something about it.

See, I just did a search on Bay 11 review... the very first thing on the list was from another site so I wont link it...
But, in that first thread, one of the GDP affiliates is in the thread giving the genetics of Bay 11. Someone right under him pulls out a quote of him saying different genetics in another thread, then he says something about "that must be during the confused time"... then someone else under him says something about that is 3 different genetics you have listed about the same strain.. And it is just a mess, seems they don't even know what the heck they have.

So yeah, easy for me to pass on spending 100 bucks a pack for something the company doesnt even know what it is.

For sure, I wouldn't spend that much on seeds either. Been lucky enough to get their clones locally, straight from the authorized clubs. I don't like to do seed shopping online, but I understand it's the only way for some folks.

^ yeah no doubt having access to clones make it much, much easier to get good phenos.
For those growing from seed, you may have to grow 20 plants to get the pheno you can go buy a clone of at the local dispensary.

I have also read there is two different versions of this strain. I will say I have grown out several grows of this. 2 being from seed. All were very well liked. Heavy yielders, and crowd favorite. The aroma and weight was very appealing. Smooth finisher.
