I have the same strains and I chose the CQ due to the yield and more funk! Don't get me wrong, the DQ is DANK smoke. I found three phenos of the DQ and each was special. Hard choice for sure.

As i was saying in an other thread fruitty taste makes me think "I could have expected that from a plant" while sour kush and Cheese especially makes me think " how the hell could a plant taste like that"!

(Day 28/Week 4) CQ vs. DQ

Here we are at 28 days since these youngin's were tossed into rapid rooters. A lot can happen in 4 weeks obviously so time is growth in a growers world and don't forget it! At the moment I'm currently taking shots of the best looking plants to keep things entertaining and to save a lot of picture taking.
 There was some topping done today right above the 2nd inter node closest to the ground. Once those tiny little sprouts of growth form workable branches, we'll be working the stems daily to strengthen your branches to support heavy flowers and also bending the heads of these branches over so that they flop downward to promote tight node spacing. Still just ph balanced water.' I know there's just a bunch of leaves now but just bare with me everyone! Won't be long for' they'll be turned into some good ol' water hash ;) Stay tuned and enjoy weed nerds!! Ganj

Girls are looking lovely.

It's good to look at you run from the beginning. The "just leaves" phase is a good way for me to learn what other growers are doing. Similarities makes me feel better and differences are a way to learn. I'd say past week 6 it becomes all bud porn and less knowledge. By that time you're suppose to be done and let the plant do her thing. It's interesting to see what comes first. Vegging might really be the most important aspect of growing with super soil.

Before you had to feel the plant and feed her accordingly. Now you just need to watch the canopy development that you builded in veg! I really want to get my veg a solid as the nutrient ratio of super soil hehe.

Again all this is really interesting, two good strains and a good way to keep on learning about the phase i wanna put more focus in.

Thanks

Cheese fan here. I have grown a bit of Eskobar's Chucky's Bride, Exodus Cheese x C99; have 20 more beans for future breeding project :)
Cannot wait to see the Cheesequake. Good luck with finding a keeper or 2. Peace.

Chucky's Bride is one of the best smelling, tasting buds I have smoked and grown. The C99 father used is the Pineapple pheno. 7 to 9 weeks harvest, but most plants finish a little after 8 weeks. 3 phenos, Cheese, C99, and the mix between the 2. The C99 pheno can turn purple, blue with lower temps. Everyone compliments the flavor, saying it tastes anything from spaghetti to french onion soup to something like a fruity cheesecake, depending on the pheno. As with most strains, the magic is released through a cure. E skobar has never disappointed me with any of his work, very good and respected breeder. Peace.

Interesting, I grew out the DQ almost 2 years ago, got 3 pheno's, 2 cheese and one lemon. The cheese pheno's grew shorter and yielded better and had that rotten smell to them, but the lemon she is my keeper, has a taste i could pick out any where, nice resin production and its one of those strains that tastes just like it smells, lemons!! I got 58 - 63 day flower on those 3

I know, I know, I know I got some fuckin' hash lovers out there  What is hash you ask.. Well, long story short those shining, silver, microscopic mushrooms you call frost or crystals (glandular trichomes for you weed nerds who already know) are collected very gently and cleanly for there magical properties. The Agent Orange hash shown was extracted using carbon filtered and sediment filtered water, ice, 8 bag 5 gallon bubble bags and Subcool's bubble hash video. This is my very 1st batch of bubble hash ever and what a success! Shout out to Subcool for constantly bein out there and teaching guys like me how to do some real fuckin' ganja farmin' the clean right way  Words just cannot express how much Sub has changed my life! I am proud to call him my idol :bigjoint:Load a fatty for these pics your gonna need it!
