Battery Backups/UPS

Does anyone run Battery backups, or UPS??

Or maybe even a outside mounted propane generator for back up power?

That has a very steep price tag,but if I had the cash I would definitely like to have 1 myself.

depenping on what u would use it for depends on how much it would be
they have smaller ones for like 70$
'thats all i would need to run some pumps a couple min
but if ur trying to run lights then............

This is a must have if your running true aeroponics. Their not that expensive anymore. 30-60 bucks. Most hydro setups don't need it with a 2-3 hour power outage anyway. Also these UPS's are not for the lights. You can do the math to figure out what size you need.

with my dwc, i use a 2 outlet airpump that has a compartment for 8 d batteries, sufficient for roughly 7 hours.
